Aaah, now I found the problem. Our buddy took 2 pictures and I sent you the first one - the one he took on the count of 2 instead of 3. Then we yelled at him and told him to take another one. This is the second picture he took. Left your legs for all to see!

Psychos?? Yeah right.... I won't say anymore because I wouldn't want to ruin your reputation by saying that you two are the nicest people we have met in a LONG time! Very genuine and down to Earth. We were just saying that we would LOVE to meet up with you guys again! As for the hubby being scared, NAH! He was trying to figure out why his buddy couldn't work a simple camera! Remember.... there was the countdown, then he didn't take the picture.... then another countdown and he snapped the picture on 2 instead of 3? I guess they didn't teach that at MOO U!! BWHAAAAAA! I'm resending you this picture because it shouldn't be blurry... you know, just in case you want to frame it or something..... Morning everyone!
Freeze - hopefully the concert is a real bonding time for the two of you, it sounds like you have come a long way already with your relationship with him which is very cool [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Deep Freeze from Wednesday, August 05, 2009 8:33:45 AM) | | Deep Freeze wrote: | | Morning!! HB, in a rather good mood this morning, eh?? Hmmm...what devious behavior lurks beneath?? HAAAA!
Bev, I am not certain that he CAN be converted but this show represents a sort of milestone for the two of us. When I first met the lad, he was quite young..all of five or six. He had suffered a very tumultuous life and I was a drinker. Needless to say, we did not "hit it off". His mother regained full custody of him only a couple years ago and so it has been an adjustment for me to learn to live with kids in the house again.
Anyway, we have formed a much better relationship in the last year or so and taking him to this show is a very big deal for the two of us. I feel a sort of bonding and the Princess has said that she is noticing it, too. His dad and he are not really close so this is a moment that may well define his future as a man. Not so much in the music but more in what I can show him as far as how a man should be. I am thankful I am not a drunk as I was before. Perhaps he will take from me the things that are most important. Things like responsibility and manners and how to treat a woman..? We'll see.

Mention of 'horns up' ... was at a booster club meeting last evening, the new fun T-shirts were on sale, one with just that image - was pretty cool to see in a high school band hall There was another that used a similar design as the Harley shield! Yeah, our band rocks! LOL

Here we are JP.com ... made it to Wednesday!
I agree with 'Freeze - it seems to be taking forever to get to the weekend!! What a weekend it will be?! 'Freeze, if the youngling doesn't turn out to be a devout Metal convert, at least you can rest knowing he's been blessed by the Gods - Cheers to a memorable night for you both! |

Hey spapad!! Haven't been home all day but also to Head Banger,Guido and Hellrider....this is a "Wheelabrator" or a "Shot Peen machine"....this is a random
picture I got off google but this is what the machine looks like except the one I work on is almost about "three times the size" of that one in this picture!
The one in this pic look tiny compared to the Wheelabrator I work on. But the wheels are in place and ect.....its a cool job and I actually "enjoy" working
on it and have for about 15 years now....I find jobs(parts) to load onto the table with certain racks to place them and make sure these jobs have same
intensitiy call outs so they get hit at the same RPMs...ect...each cycle when the parts are being peened lasts 4 minutes and we rotate the parts 180 turn
then after the nest cycle we flip them over....then after the next cycle rotate 180 turn again...this asures the parts are being saturated by spec.
I stand at a desk with a computer to log the information in and there is a control panel to operate the RPMs as to how hard we peen the parts....
when the machine is peening for the 4 minute cycles....if I've already got my paperwork filled out...I can go bullshit with one of my friends!!! lol!!
But make no mistake about it...I do not "slack off"... I've peened more parts than anyone at that shop ever has....and my production skills are top notch.
There is also a manual shot peen machine like a small sand blast machine that we have to peen some parts that have clevis' that can not be reached in the
wheelabrator,so we shoot them manually then put them in the wheelabrator machine. We have to take a written test,a practical test once a year per
Boeing BAC 5730 spec.....the tests are usually easy because I've been doing it for so long but they always throw trick questions in there to try and
confuse you....why,I do not know!! lol! A dude from Boeing in suit and tie comes in once a year and tests us shot peeners....there are tons of questions
and ect...and on our part there is alot of "foolery" lol!!! There are some things we hide but its not something that would jeapordize the integrity of an
airplane part or anything "serious".

I decided I had said too much and retracted alot of that statement. I know you have a very special bond with your daughter and I think that is great. Even though I don't aways see eye to eye with my X I do hope he and she can remain close.
Amazing how having a child literally changes everything about who you are! It's like being born to another life yourself! Thanks, you guys. Seriously. It's funny but I am finding that I am able to go higher with my voice these days. I guess it is because I am singing almost everyday now and I am getting some strength back. I have done a couple songs now where I have really surprised myself. I thought those days were LONG gone but they seem to be coming back..well, at least PARTIALLY.... HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
