LOL, I know the feeling! We used an oblong shiny zinc tub on the table and put the shoes in it. When it was full it looked like some sort of display.

That's why Flora and I used to put our shoes on the table beside the door, because Bella used to destroy them if they were left in the floor, not to mention atacking the shoes while they were still on your feet. Ah, she was very entertaining!
