They did some classic albums...both Death/Doom and the more up-tempo u see there...again tho - studio is better.. IMO

Never heard of live stuff - i can assure u they are FAR superior in the studio.
As for other bands> Try Cathedral...2nd singer is awful...but the tunes make up for it...try 'Hopkins: Witchfinder General', 'Vampire Sun', or (especially) 'Utopian Blaster'
