I don't know who followed my discussion with J:D: DIAMOND and Godoy about "glam" definition ?
I must say again "glam" is not a music style definition.I think this is just a mindless trendy phrase by media (correctly: some "very talented" journalists )
I don't care wikipedia music chapters but i want to be objective in this question.
From the wikipedia: "Musically glam metal uses traditional hard rock and heavy metal songs, incorporating elements of punk rock while
adding pop-influenced catchy hooks and guitar riffs."- ......etc. -Wikipedia.
What does it mean? A BIG NOTHING this is a mindless,chaotic,snob definition.
For example: is it punk? or Metal? or hard rock?or pop? Try to decide this ! And mixed by everything?
I hate these mindless, trendy,boring definitions by some (maybe bored) talentless journalists!
I think some media somebodies create phrases for trends again and again.Hmm business is business!
I don't like these brainwashers!
Imo the life is simple for example metal,hard rock,punk are musical definitions but the glam or pop,party,hair are not.
But i have some funny ideas for phrases- eyebrow grunge,nu-glasses,unpopular alernative,gag grunge,nu-renal calculus,alternative fart,
tooth-grunge,nephritis-rap,tongue-grunge,smelly rap...etc.
