I've been a fan of Judas Priest ever since about 1984-85. I first heard them on the radio, and later saw them on MTV. I think the same way now as I did back then.............JUDAS PRIEST RULES!!!!!!! |

Hmm... I know I had heard of the Priest (and listened to some of their hits) years before I became a fan, but I really didn't become a fan until around 82 when Screaming for Vengeance came out. Once I heard that LP, I was hooked. Edited at: Tuesday, June 30, 2009 12:56:49 AM |

My Dad played British Steel when I was a child, straight from the vinyl baby. I was probably 12 or 13 when I really started listening to more than my dads old tapes, I started buying the remasters, hmmmmm I cant really say when I became a Priest fan I think I have always listened to Priest in some way or another. |

Heh great Im here only one who falls in love with priest in january this year? :) ox so why priest? At first I found album Nostradamu in august last year, I listen to it a few weeks but I was so exciting about bands such as Alice Cooper, KISS - old school of shock rock and than I forgot on this album...yeah Im crazy but I didnt know real Judas Priest from British Steel for example....
ox so 4 months ago I presented in my class my classwork about Heavy Metal. I worked on my classwork one month...It was the first time when I was enjoyed from homework :D I read books (The Encyclopedia of Heavy Metal: Daniel Bukszpan, very great book), I searching informatio on wikipedia and I watch documents about metal as Metal: A Headbanger's Journey, Heavy Metal: Louder than Life (you can see Judas Priest) and Never Say Die Heavy Metal - this is 4 part of document Seven Ages of Rock, after this document I was very excited about priest. Ive got a lot of information about PMRC too (Ive never heard about PMRC before) so I was very surprised when I heard about two boys who made a suicide and Judas Priest were taken to court, because the parents claimed that there were 'subliminal messages' or what, in the music that encouraged the boys to commit suicide. I cant believe that some people believed that song countains subliminal messages. WTF...
OX The End :D Who read it all thank you. This is my longer topic as yet.lol. Hmmm I have question: Is there someone younger than me? :P Hell Bent For Leatherrrrrrrrrrr |

Been listening to metal for around 5 years now, but just got into priest about two years ago when i was watching music videos and Breakin the Law came on. The riff is what captivated me, i immediatley looked up the guitar tabs and learned tht song, then went out and bought some 3 disc best of Judas Priest. I cant get enough of them now. painkiller is my fav album. and Nostradamus IS good. sure its different, but i love it. and i cant wait to see em in cleveland july 14th |

1985. My cousin turned me on to metal in general, and I listened to Hero, Hero about a million times. I missed the Defenders tour, so my first live experience was actually the Parking Lot concert (Capital Centre in Lansdowne, MD), Dokken opening. Great show. |
