Set list was still the same tonight in Minnesota... What a fuckin' concert, I lost my voice in the process!  Rob's vocals were in the stratosphere, he's def. still does have it.  The Priest never let's down, and this was one helluva concert. I've never heard british Steel performed so beautifully (The crowd behind me was going ape-shit when Painkiller was never played... I tried to tell 'em the set-list, but they wanted it, BAD!)  I have some video of "The Rage", "Diamonds & Rust", and Rob's crowd warm-up & YGATC. Hope to get 'em up, great view from where I was.  Priest played from 8:30 PM - 10:03 PM, then we all watched the fireworks explode overhead. Nothin' better than a concert on an island.

While the setlist is pretty fine, I'll give my impression of it all. I think the entire tour, playing all of British Steel is slightly nostalgic, something that Rob said Judas Priest will never be. They're playing only one song from this lineup...Prophecy. Nice to see electric Diamonds And Rust, as well as the bone chilling Freewheel Burning. Does Scott play it with double bass like he did with Fight in 1993/1994? A bit disappointing to hear the set is only 70 minutes long, more songs would be good. Something heavier would be great like One Shot At Glory or Demonizer or something.

That is a very short set, a little over 1 hour long ! I really hope that is not the whole show, otherwise that is a rip-off, all of BS plus 6 ( VOC, RHRF, Ripper, D&R, YGATC, Freewheel Burning and Prophecy).  BS runs about  37 minutes, add the other 6 songs averaging 6 minutes per song (i'm being generous) and you have a set of 1hr 13 min - REAL SHORT!  I already have bought 3 tix to the show at Merriweather Post so I'm going regardless, but I REALLY hope that JP adds some more songs onto this set or I will be upset! I would love to hear Sinner or Exciter or Screaming for Vengance - hint!

Man, I was hoping to see the acoustic version...but do you guys think Painkiller isnt on the list because Rob cant hit the notes? thts the only explanation i have

Someone on the Halford Q posted that it is indeed the electric version and NOT the accoustic version of Diamonds and Rust.

But I want to hear SINNER! PLEASE!!!! But at least I get to hear THE RIPPER! I LOVE that song

Is it just me, or does the setlist seem a little short considering British Steel is not a very long album? Is this a 90 minute show or is it shorter? Only 2 weeks to go until I see for myself - I can't wait

First Date of Tour 06/29/09 at Murat Ctr. Indianapolis. My question is: Is Diamonds & Rust the "electric version"? I sure as hell hope so as it is listed as an encore. Keep the updates coming! MpleSyrp
