look at Saxon....they have made 7 albums in a row that are running on the same formula yet each one still comes out different/but the same.
So yes,I do like it when a band does the same thing all the time. I am not a person who likes a little bit of everything,not at all.
And its not so much the instraments in Nostradamus,its the "song writting",I don't like it,only a couple of tracks and thats it. Its just not my idea of a good album,but that does'nt mean "anything"...its simply an opinion.
I could list a bunch of awsome albums and most would find them boring and lame,but to me they are excellent. Its just an opinion,and its healthy to express them.
If everybody liked the same thing all the time no questions asked,it would be boring would'nt it? I think so.

I like Maiden's first 5 albums from Iron Maiden debut to Powerslave. The next best Iron maiden album after Powerslave is 2006 A Matter Of Life And Death.
The albums after Somewhere In Time do not sound the same to me,but I still don't like them.

Well,I am not a fan of "something different". I am very "narrow minded". I only like a hand full of hard rock bands,and the rest is "true-traditional" styled black,speed,thrash,death and heavy metal,no trends.
I like it when a band "does the same thing all the time"...like AC/DC.....like "Motorhead".....
look at Saxon....they have made 7 albums in a row that are running on the same formula yet each one still comes out different/but the same.
So yes,I do like it when a band does the same thing all the time. I am not a person who likes a little bit of everything,not at all.
And its not so much the instraments in Nostradamus,its the "song writting",I don't like it,only a couple of tracks and thats it. Its just not my idea of a good album,but that does'nt mean "anything"...its simply an opinion.
I could list a bunch of awsome albums and most would find them boring and lame,but to me they are excellent. Its just an opinion,and its healthy to express them.
If everybody liked the same thing all the time no questions asked,it would be boring would'nt it? I think so.

I respect your opinion because it shows you`re honest and you`re a Rocker for expressing what you feel ( Do as I feel as I say ). However, I can`t understand yet why you don`t like this album. Well, you say it`s too long and experimental and it doesn`t have the Judas Priest sound but aren`t you happy that Judas Priest is a band that evolves reather than being stuck, doing the same thing all the time. I know, I was surprised when I saw it the first time, I think it depends on the producer that brings the band here, for example Deep Purple is brough with the same producer and is going to play in the same stadium and you can find ads like this one, sometimes you get the logo of the band with the dates, or when it's a festival, the logo of it and bands listed, but they are quite big, the promo of the realease of ACDC's Black Ice was two times bigger than this
