Sounds like you had a good weekend Bud.

The wife and I had a pretty good weekend. Saturday we went to Cleveland for Mushroomhead's annual
Halloween show. I was wondering on the way up why they were calling it their Halloween show when they had a concert
scheduled in Michigan on Sunday night. I saw that the line-up had three bands and MRH listed so after the third band I
thought MRH was next. Then after the fourth band I thought they were next. After the sixth band I was getting pissed.
After eight bands and the clock saying 11:30 and still no MRH I was wondering if this shit wasn't going on all night. At
midnight I found out why they called it their Halloween show. About 1:40 the show was finally over. I know most here
hate them but it was so worth the wait. Incredible high energy show and a "VERY" sic crowd. Then all the hotties with
their little
schoolgirl outfits, and little fairy outfits, and nurses and...You get the picture. The waitresses were running
around in heels and garters and panties with black tape covering the nipples. I'm happy and love my wife but it was fun to watch.
We got home around 4:30 in the morning. Got about five hours sleep and then went to Coopers Rock.  I may have overrated
the place the first time but it is a beautiful place none the less. We walked all of Rattlesnake trail this time. I may post a
slide show for you guys. You wouldn't believe how treacherous some of this path looks. This post is a little long so I'll end it.
I'm a little tired but I can rest when I'm dead. Right now I'm just trying to live. It's one of the reasons the wife and I are so happy.

P.S.
You should have seen the biker dressed up in a little Britney Spears outfit(skirt, crop top, and wig) moshing in the pit. Now that was funny.

...Going to Mushroomhead "Halloween" show tomorrow in Cleveland and then Sunday we head south
to Coopers Rock State Forest again. We want to check out all four overlooks and a couple of walking trails
and of course cookout. There is a trail that leads to an overlook that's supposed to be better than the one I
showed you guys pics of. If I get any good shots I'll post them here. If I get any video at the concert I'll post
that here also. Hope to have a fun weekend.Peace all!

I understand that. I'm kind of lucky to live where I do. There are so many things to see and it's not too long of a drive
to most. Those pictures cost me twenty bucks in gas and Arby's on the way home. Within a five hour drive it's amazing
what I have the opportunity to do. That place was about an hour and forty five minutes away.

It's nothing like Cooper's Rock. Just a bunch of rock formations which have caves and crevIces to climb through. There is an old quarry that you can camp and swim plus they have bands play on the weekend. Big party place, look it up at WWW.NLQP.COM. It's probably not far from you.

yeah, but I have to balance off going to work to pay for such trips, and leaving the wife and kids since they are not interested....

perhaps I should become a budist, that way I can do all this next life... maybe.

I didn't realize the religious connotation there. I'm not a traditional anything.
I should have said ...in my opinion you only live once. Others are free to believe anything they want.

I take my advice back, it only works for me.   [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by guidogodoy from Monday, October 18, 2010 11:33:38 PM)

If you want to go places then you've got to go. You only live once, there are no second chances.
I do everything I possibly can for that reason.

I really hope some of you enjoy these. In a few days I'll finish my autograph pics
and then I'll back off. This was unintentional. Didn't realize how many autograph pics I had
and I had to share these. Too bad for the rain. I don't feel like I'm doing this place justice.

These are from Cooper's Rock. A rain just came through and ruined my chance of better pics
but these are still cool. Lower right is the viewing area. It was wet and slick and a bit scary. The
rail isn't very high and the rock slopes down. I was shaky getting close to the edge.(LOL)

[Budred] Saturday, October 16, 2010 6:46:09 AM
Hello all. I have something I wanted to share. Yesterday, after waking, the wife and I realized we had the day off together.
The weather was OK and the trees are changing so we decided we would go for a drive. The problem was where to go?
We thought of four or five different drives when this place called Cooper's Rock State Forest popped into my head. I
remember someone telling me about it but I've never been there. I didn't even remember which state it was in or how far
from home it was. We googled it and found that it was near Morgantown W.Va., about 2 hours away so off we went. The
drive down was beautiful. Rolling hills and rural farm areas pretty much the whole way. It was nothing compared to the
State forest we were going to. When we got there we took this little road through the forest area that felt as though you
were almost driving through the trees. The fall colors made it nice. We got to this parking area that had a couple of trails,
one leading to an overlook and the other twisting through the woods through a maze of giant rocks.(not literally). You walked
over, around, and between them. There were crevices and holes and a bit dangerous in places. Then we took the path
to the overlook. This is why I'm posting this. This overlook was one of the most incredible sites that I have ever seen. You
could see for miles in both directions. A massive hill in front of you filled with colorful trees. Valley's in both directions with
a little river snaking through it. You were miles above it and the only signs of urban life was a town miles in the distance.
It was truly an awe inspiring experience and I will have to post pics soon. I guarantee some will enjoy. To do something
so spontaneous and have it turn out so good and share it with my wife made yesterday a very special day. I'll share soon.
