LOL I see it's 'Numero Uno' who is up to no good or whatever this time. I think I ran in to him once, Craig and I were walking to my sisters place in Whitechapel, London, and some drunk dude stumbled on the the street (at 8am in the morning) and yelled out 'I'm Numero Uno!!!'
ANYWAYS - I am so excited about getting tickets to AC/DC tomorrow. Not as excited as I would be if Priest came here, but excited none the less! YAY finally a cool gig here in NZ! LOL! That I can get to I mean - Iron Maiden were here earlier this year, but I couldn't go *sniff* [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by spapad from Sunday, July 26, 2009 10:45:33 PM)

Bye, HRMG!! Have fun!!
Actually, I should get off as well. I haven't cleaned my place since...last week, I think?
Well, I'm off to go visit my mom. She is doing really well after her large stroke in June. They are having a picnic at the rehab/nursing home today and she is eating well enough and doing well enough that she can go this time. Thank God the doctors were WRONG!!
[HOT ROCKIN' METAL GODDESS] Sunday, July 26, 2009 12:15:39 PM
Last year, Halford reached down from stage and shook Mark's hand.... I punched my hubby in the arm about 3 times and called him much worse names! He just looked at me and said, "You got a HUG from him". But I kinda begged for that hug at the meet and greet..... Just can't get enough of the Metal God!
Last year I caught two picks, one from Motorhead and one from Testament but none from Priest. This year KK zings one right at me it bounces off my arm and before I could bend over Guid had it! I think I called him a Bastard! LOL
HOT ROCKIN' METAL GODDESS wrote:
Not to mention, he'd KNOW who took it!! And yes, chair diving, stepping on hands..... all is fair when going for a Priest pick or stick! If you snooze you lose. But those damn picks are so hard to catch in the air!! They always bounce off my hand and land right in the lap of the people behind me!

My camera was new, and I almost knew nothing about it! I wish I'd paid the extra 30 or so for a Cannon as I know just how to use one of those as it is all I've owned in 20 years now. I had a bugger of a time with this new happy snap! And then at the end of the night I forgot I had tucked the camera in the small of by back and when I got to the hotel I went to the bathroom and unbuttoned my jeans and heard a big Kerplunk! Turned around and fished it straight out! Dried it off. Memory card survived and after I was ready to box it back up and take it back to WalMart and tell them it was broke when I got it, I tried it one last time and it fired right up! So, since it's a tough little camera I'll keep it and just learn how to use it! LOL [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by HOT ROCKIN' METAL GODDESS from Sunday, July 26, 2009 11:57:31 AM)

Yeah, all of them only hand them out on their own sides. Ian and Glenn start handing them out from the edge of their side and work toward the middle and KK just sort of throws them out on his side. So make sure you scream Glenn's name and get his attention! He's been known to have security hand the pick to someone in the crowd to make sure they get it! Glenn is such a GREAT guy! I had an excellent time and the show was the BEST I've ever seen Priest in all these years! They sounded so good, and just no words for how good the show was! I didn't get many good shots and I also get bored taking pictures when I'd rather be headbanging, screaming and in general acting like I was 18 again! LOL The next day I paid the price but it was worth it! I'd go again tomorrow if I could! I hope so!! My own little Priest shrine is growing by the day (thank you, full-time job!!), and a pick from Mr. Tipton himself would make it even more special (and hopefully a drumstick from Mr. Scottie too). Let's face it! Had they had these AC/DC shoes in the first store I went in then I wouldn't have had to keep going in every freakin' shoe store in that damn mall! I'm no shopper! My idea of shopping is going armed with a cattlepod to get the browsers out of the way to obtain what I came to get, and get the hell out! But no, the mall had to have Chucks displays in all the windows only to disapoint me with the "girly" variety they carried and the only cool ones they had were big enough to put on over my existing shoes! HA!!
So, here's my new Chucks! I'm in love with them! [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by guidogodoy from Sunday, July 26, 2009 2:02:46 AM)

Now I'm really happy as I just looked at a gazillion mile mall that advertised Chucks all over and NONE of which to my tastes! Now these Highway to Hell babies are MY taste! Kewl! Can't wait to sport those savy sneeks! I'm rocking the chucks! Guid knows I have a fettish for them! LMAO! The only thing in the entire 2 mile or so Mall I looked for was Chucks! I left disappointed! They had a really cool pair posted on a poster, but they didn't have that shoe in the store! Bastards! Now, I'm glad I waited!

Yeah the Cincinnati show would have any metal fan bouncing off the walls. They were indeed as HRMG stated "on fire". Rob was living it up and belting it like a demon. It was an awesome sight to watch them. Scott played drums like a man-beast and KK and Glen were their usual awesome selves.
I took a couple of friends that were familiar with the radio songs (Breakin-the -law and Another Thing). They were blown away and are now die-hards. It was Tuesday and I am still F'N glowing.

I haven't seen Rob dance, shadow box, or play around like this since I saw them back in '86 on the Turbo tour!! He was definitely FEELING it! It was so awesome to watch them all enjoying it so much. They have so much more left in the tank, they are definitely not done yet. We had front row center tickets and got some really great pictures! I finally got them all loaded onto my Facebook page.
