Just like runny peanut butter.... It's just wrong! Mmm was thinking of having a Tuna sandwich, might have Vegemite instead.

Marmite (and vegemite I guess haha) should NOT have the consistency of toffee, it goes against the laws of the universe!
[devils_child] Sunday, February 15, 2009 8:29:44 PM
Ewwww!!!! I took a jar of Vegemite with me when i went to Europe, now way would i leave home without it

LOL I think marmite is much more a kiwi thing and vegemite an aussie thing. I've always preferred marmite lol. Mind you we had marmite in Scotland and something must have gone wrong with the batch cos it had the consistency of toffee, now that was pretty yuck haha.
[devils_child] Sunday, February 15, 2009 8:18:21 PM
Vegemite is wayyyy better than Marmite.... I can't stand that crap... ewwwww - Vegemite rules the land

And yes Guido.... Don't try Vegemite till you have an Aussie to spread it for you... that goes for anyone who's never tried it.
[spapad] Sunday, February 15, 2009 8:08:32 PM
My knowledge of that stuff is not from Men At Work, it's from Aussies themselves that say it is an aquired taste and tourists have never had much good to say about it either.

Alligator, snake, ostrich. YUMMMMM!!! Tried 'em all.

Marmite still sounds like a precious stone, though. Only reason any common american knows of vegemite is because of the Men Down Under. Same as anyone here knows about poi. Fred Flintstone and his flubbed line. "Please pass the poi!"   [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by spapad from Sunday, February 15, 2009 7:54:27 PM)

In other words, be afraid, be very afraid! Vegemite, Marmite. Sound scary.  I have eaten alot of stuff up to and including Aligator, snake, skate, and yes ostrich as well, (which was really good) but no can do on the Vegimite, Marmite.   [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Becks from Sunday, February 15, 2009 7:20:33 PM)

How beautiful, Becks! REALLY pretty, the three of them. Amazingly so, in fact.

When we adopted him we got told he is a huntaway border collie x, but he is much larger than either of those breeds. Overall we think he has german shepherd in him too, but he does look similar to a queensland too!
[spapad] Sunday, February 15, 2009 7:09:49 PM
Does Buddy have Queensland in him? His expression reminds  me of both my past babies, both Queensland blue heelers.
