I'm talking about the background on stage behind Scottie, that says "Judas Priest".
I know its hard to see in that pic I posted, but the Judas Priest logo has this pattern of the British flag all over it.... and it looks cool!

Yes, but where's the British connection here?

[VICTIM OF METAL] Thursday, September 04, 2008 6:42:54 AM
Might be the letter "T" at the end of Priest? It now has the symbol they been using in it.
[zumpulija] Thursday, September 04, 2008 6:37:09 AM
what do you mean by "British" version?
[Vaillant 3.0] Wednesday, September 03, 2008 11:40:03 PM
You know, I kind of like the new "British" version of the Judas Priest logo. I hope they keep it for their next tour.

I hope that those that could leave did, and I pray for those that couldn't.

Me too. I saw the devastation when I was in Thailand just after Boxing Day. Hope everyone in the area gets out fine and the "authorities" have got their S@#T together this time. It was too awful last time. My thoughts are with anyone there or with family there.

I share your hopes; there's been enough people dying around the world from natural disasters. In fact it seems New Orleans isn't too bad considering the horrors that still go on in Asia after the giant tsunami killed a hundred thousand people, destroyed whole cities and left many children orphaned and homeless.

THANKS FOR CORRECTING ME --YOU ARE SO RIGHT --I THINK NEW ORLEANS LEARNED THE HARD WAY THE LAST TIME--I JUST HOPE EVERYONE WILL BE SAFE & SOUND.

No, during Katrina there was no mandatory evacuation and they weren't organized period. This time around there is actually an effort but I think I wouldn't want to stay in N.O. at the mercy of the predators left in town, storm not withstanding.
[crypticangle] Monday, September 01, 2008 3:26:57 AM
Thousands evacuted already---it's like Katrina all over again--may God bless them & help them all.

Usually the shit hits the fan, but this time around it's the fan coming to hit the shit.
Let's see if lessons were learned or not but I still don't understand why such a dumb desire to rebuild in natural flood areas. It's like asking for disaster to hit again and again.

the weathermen I know just read off the computer generated forecast, most days put 0 thought into it.  guessing requires effort, something to be done if the computers dont agree.
