I AM SO EXCITED. LAST NIGHT I FOUND THE SAD WINGS OF DESTING SHIRT IN A XXL ON LINE.
SHIRT IS SPECIAL TO ME. IT WAS THE FIRST PRIEST SHIRT I EVER PURCHASED BACK IN 1978. WORE THE ORIGINAL UNTIL IT WAS SH SHEER YOU COULD SEE RIGHT THROUGH IT. |

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE. AND WHAT A GLORIOUS DAY IT IS. PRIEST ROCKED MY WORLD LAST NIGHT. THEY WERE ABOSLUTELY ON TOP OF THIE GAME. ALL THE SONGS FROM BRITISH STEEL WERE GREAT INCLUDING MY FAVORITE - YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE OLD TO BE WISE. BUT WERE K.K AND GLENN EVER TIGHT ON THE END OF STEELER. THEY GOT AN OVATION THAT WAS TREMENDOUS. (I'D SAY A STANDING OVATION, BUT AS WE ALL KNOW NO ONS SITS DOWN FROM THE FIRST NOTE OF THE SHOW TO THE LAST ANYAY)
RIPPER AND VICTIM OF CHANGES BLEW ME AWAY. I FELT LIKE IT WAS THE FIRST TIME I'VE SEEN THEM. AFTER SEEING THEM 60 OR 70 TIMES TO STILL GET THAT EXCITEMENT WAS GREAT.
SOME GUY JUMPED ON STAGE AND SANG A FEW MINUTES WITH HALFORD. DON'T KNOW IF THAT WAS AT ALL TH E SHOWS.
THE AUDIENCE WAS LOUD AND THE PARTICIPATION WAS A LOT OF FUN. SOME SONGS WE SANG MORE THAT ROB.
AT THE END OF THE SHOW THEY STOOD IN FRONT OF THE AUDIENCE LIKE THEY NORMALLY DO, BUT A LITTLE LONGER. EVERYONE WAS SOING UP TO THE STAGE SHAKING HANDS AND GETTING HI 5S CHANTING PRIEST PREIST PRIEST, THEN THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. THE SMILES ON THEIR FACES WERE GREAT.
ALL IN ALL THEY TRUELY WERE THE METAL GODS LAST NIGHT.
ONLY DRAWBACK OF THE NIGHT. I WANTED TO BUT THE SAD WINGS OF DESTINY T-SHIRT. IT'S A GREAT LOOKING SHIRT. BUT THEY DIDN'T HAVE A 2 OR 3 XL. I'LL FIND ONE SOME WHERE.
AND MY VOICE IT VERY SCRATCHY TODAY FROM SINGING SO LOUD. OR WITH MY VOICE, SHOULD I SAY ATTEMPTING TO SING?

And now people come here and tell me that they've been playing Ripper and VICTIM OF CHANGES...
I'm about to go and sign in at an asylum LOL |

Sounds AWESOME, Scorp!!! Too COOL!! Man, they are really "barnstorming" the States, eh?? Cleveland tomorrow then Detroit on Wednesday. Whew! I cannot even imagine keeping such a schedule! And at their (my) age??!?!!!!!??!?!!!!! Yeesh! Simply remarkable! I know I will be trashed by the time I reach Detroit this afternoon! I sure as hell could not go out and do a gig!!
Just a couple more hours and we will be heading over to the airport. I am all packed, showered and ready to go. I keep picturing Guido in my mind, holding one of those cardboard signs over his head that reads, "Freeze".... HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Right!! Well, I guess I am as ready as I can be!!

Lol Strat, I know the feeling. I went on a lol cats binge the other day. They are just so funny. Brightens up any day you're having.
Well, today is rest day on the tour. So I'm not going to get my fix and it's too rainy and cold to take my own bike out so.. I guess I'll just have to comfort eat and catch up on stuff I'm supposed to be doing around the house. It was so miserable and dark this morning that the thought of getting out of bed and going to the gym just seemed so.. wrong. Lol.
Tomorrow is radio free day in the tour. The cyclists are pretty bummed out because they will have no comunication at all and they are thinking this is pretty dangerous with regard to injury, damage/danger int he roads etc. I'm seeing it from both side but I think they should have debuted this in a smaller event not the TDF. Oh well, we'll see what happens.

Good Sunday Morning to you!! Got in late last night after the fights. Not sure if any of you bothered but, that Brock Lesner is an absolute BRUTE!! WOW!!! I felt kind of sorry for the kid from here in Vegas but, that's how it goes in this sport. Anyway, VERY tired this morning and sore as hell. Sorry I missed all the fun last night (again).
Well, tomorrow is the "big" day!! My plane leaves around 11 in the morning and I will be meeting up tomorrow night with the one and only GUIDO and his family !!!!!! I cannot begin to tell you all how excited I am about this trip! As I have been saying, the Priest show is almost secondary!! HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have wanted to meet our dear lunatic for a LONG time! I have run through it in my mind a thousand times! The Princess is actually the one that made this happen as she insisted that I get on a plane and get out there to meet this wonderful friend!
I cannot help but marvel at this site and its membership. What a remarkable place this is. So many of us getting together. Seeing each other face to face. Creating memories and seeing the Band. Incredible! There are many of you that now have long lasting friendships as a direct result of your membership at Judas Priest.com...WOW!! They can say whatever they want to say about this site but THAT makes it all irrelevant. This place is a living, breathing entity. A conduit. I am prouder than ever to be a member of this Board.
I will not have my laptop with me but I am sure Guido will have his so you will all be updated on the goings on as they occur! I have never been to Detroit so this will be an experience for me! Most importantly, it will be my chance to finally meet one of the greatest most enjoyable members of this site! I hope you all stay tuned for what I can only imagine will be a circus of the highest order!!!!! HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wish me luck! |

The thing with Slipknot is, its always the ones who do nothing in the band (like the timp guy) who do the interviews, and said timp guy stated in the last one I read-
-He hates touring (So why do it?)
-He hates big stages (So why play them?)
-Slipknot has no real fans left, only 'kids who come to see the big show' (Must be a kick in the teeth for their fans who, as the poll shows, are pretty devoted to the band.)
-'It (the band) will end and I know that better than anyone' (They said that in an interview six months ago, or they're not in it for money, fame etc. why are they still together?)
I have respect for some members of Slipknot, like the guitarists and the singer, they play in other bands too and they're talented musicians. But this, I find quite sad. What Lance and the Livestrong foundation needs me to do, is to sit on the couch, pulling the covers up around my eyes, glaring out in milliseconds of sheer terror, waiting to hear that our boy from Texas is yet again known as 'Mellow James' All this stress will once again reinforce my undying faith in the 'uni-baller'

Same way people here are pulling new anonymous IPs to bother us with new accounts once banned is the same way you can vote multiple times on that poll site.
Not technically difficult (you see the dolts here who figured it out) but not really worth it to boost numbers on a poll nobody cares about. As said, we all know who is #1. Priest Reunion tour (aka Ozzfest) had Slipknot. Not even main stage.... |

Hey Becks! I'm guessing the Sipknot forum had a heads-up on this poll before we did. A shame really, if that's true. |

LMAO I just showed Craig the poll and he wrinkled his nose at it, and he has listened to far more Slipknot than me. I asked if he thought their guitarists are any good, and he said not really [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Vaillant 3.0 from Saturday, July 11, 2009 4:40:15 PM) | | Vaillant 3.0 wrote: | | It doesn't say anything about voting by phone, but that would be nice.

Nope, wouldn't let me either...hell, I didn't think they were that popular...I figured it would be between our guys and Maiden, but Maidens' barely even registering on the radar gun...this sucks, but I'm not suprised...as great as Priest are, the will never get there just due...and that's fine with me...who gives a shit what others think anyway!!!!! It's a shame you can not force those you love to take better care of themselves but perhaps if you show him enough information about the ill effects and possibly life ending effects he will seek to do something about it. I'm sure you hound him till he does. Good luck, hard to talk a hard head into doing things. MG...Your brother sounds like he definitely needs to have a sleep study. In case you didn't know, sleep apnea can lead to heart problems and several other health related issues if left untreated. My dad has severe sleep apnea and uses a C-PAP machine at night and states he feels like a new man. Hope you can talk some sense into him and I wish him luck.
I have sleep apnea myself (my cheap bastard insurance company wouldn't pay for treatment though because I was below their cut-off score for paying for treatment). I should save that for the "something pissing you off" thread..LOL. Ahhh must be nice to have the house to yourself again!
Keeping in contact with a neighbor is a good idea. It would also ease your worries as well, just having the comfort of knowing someone is keeping a eye on him when you can't. :) What could it hurt? Yeh, Norton is our main Antiviral at work too, and it's not cutting the job. Two computers infected in the last week with what the tech guy calls a very sophisticated hacker. It's all made to look like an antiviral system has taken over your computer and tells you how infected you are and then, you download it, it cost's money and you just lost your identity! As much as a pain it is to run it each day, I sure as hell will, and will probably upgrade to it's finer system affects and dump Norton next renewal. Piece of crap, if it can't sort out that much garbage on my system then it needs to go! BASTARDS!!! I'm sick of them!

I would recommend you shut down security running on your computer or otherwise when it reaches the fire wall it quits responding. BUT MY FRIENDS! I run heavy security on my computer, and I was shocked at the amount of Malware it found on my PC. It was with an initial quick scan up to 1,450 infected files and when I ran the deep scan it came up with 93 more infected files. Almost all of this crap came from my daughter loading MyWebSearch to the choice of web browsers. DO NOT Download "My Websearch" It will slow your system down to a snails pace! The program I downloaded was called "Malwarebytes" You can get it at Malwarebytes.org. It's an excellent cleaner of garbage off your system. I'm shocked how much better my PC is running now! I in general, don't recommend software to anyone, but I was impressed with what this program did for my computer, so I thought I would pass it along! |

Put me a day behind in my work because you wanted to know your horoscope and what kind of man is good for you. I GOT the answer NONE! Damnit! I hate that they are even allowed to use my computer! I'm gone for two fifteen minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch, they need to stay the hell off my computer!

Oh, holy shit, my computer was running a bit on the tired side so I took advise from our Tech man we hire out at work and installed an initially free program to comb thorough my computer. |

I in general, don't recommend software to anyone, but I was impressed with what this program did for my computer, so I thought I would pass it along! |

I even gave her a verbal dressing down over it! But when the tech guy came it he said, it could have happened to anyone, yeh, anyone using Yahoo. so she just got right back to her same old. I steer clear of Yahoo.com because that is where all of those viruses came from. My computer, other people sit at while I'm on breaks etc. I always erase my browsing history before they sit down at my desk. All these people do is answer the phone and surf the internet, and they got me that nasty virus by using Yahoo. and looking in the Love Pages! Thanks! Idiots!

Oh, holy shit, my computer was running a bit on the tired side so I took advise from our Tech man we hire out at work and installed an initially free program to comb thorough my computer. |

Good day...
Heavy shit going on here... Rained hard for all day since yesterday, light floods, and apparently even a fatality. Summers just arent what they used to be...
Then again... The last part of my college entry exams is tomorrow, and Im looking forward to be done with it.
As for Michael, I guess I am one of the few people alive that didnt know about the funeral, until 2 hours ago... Sorry, but watching a funeral live on TV just isnt my idea of entertainment. |

Heya Joe. I saw that part of the service too, and am not afraid to admit I shed a tear or two for the little girl and her brothers. What a brave wee girl to stand up at her daddys funeral like that. I'm not a mother yet, but I wanted to comfort her too, cos while I am not a mother, i am a daughter of a father I love very very much too. Hello metallians...
Wow what a weekend. Busy as hell including a vicious fall of the bike. In one piece but a few bruises and some road rash to show for it. I'm so glad everyone is having a great time at the shows. Nice to get some feedback lol.
I've got a house full of strangers who don't speak my language so it's going to be a very, very long night
Wish me luck.. please. |

GOOD MORIING ALL. I'M GETING EXCITED. 5 MORE DAYS. I'M JEALOUS OF ALL WHO HAVE SEEN THE SHOW ALREADY.
When the day is over,
I like to ease my mind
By jucin' up my system,
With the beat of a heavy kind
I smack a bottle open,
I crank the hi-fi high
I'm in-a seventh heaven
Ooh I can touch the sky
I'm in love, so in love
And I can't stop talking 'bout my rock forever |

Nope--I have Sundays & Monday nights off - my first nursing home I did 3 months of 3-11 shift --I was only 19 & I so hated it !!--then when I got married I did 4 years of day shift & it was 4 years too long --having to set an alarm clock for 5 am --well that's just not for me --so I did 10 more years there on my beloved night shift & then got this COUNTY nursing home job--with so much more better benefits --I can actually retire in 11 more years & just sit in my rocker on the front porch & wait while the mailman brings me my monthly check (while listening to Judas Priest )
but the county nursing kinda lets you pick your days off--you have to work every other weekend but I wanted to work Tues -Saturday because I'm a big wrestling fan & a big football fan--so I made a deal with them to have every Sunday night ( football & PPV wrestling ) & Monday nights off ( Monday night Raw & MOnday night Football ) so it's all good --I just can't sleep--I am used to it --I'd better be --after 20 plus years--there would be something wrong with me if I wasn't used to it !!---lol But I understand it's not for every one [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by ronhartsell from Monday, July 06, 2009 4:44:24 AM)

FYI--today VH1 starts the 100 concerts in 100 days--to be at 11am & repeated at 11 pm--am not sure who's up 1st but I plan to watch all 100 concerts
Also tonight starts The VH1 Great Debate--1st up is John Travolta--was he sexier/cuter in Grease or Saturday Night Fever--my vote is Saturday Night Fever but it'll be interesting to see what VH1 has to say
Saturday Night Fever had all those Bee Gees song & I still on occasion listen to them |
