Aces High - Iron Maiden.
Stained Class is top notch, HBFL also falls in the slightly patchy category for me, Evening Star and Take On The World would not look out of place on Turbo and Evil Fantasies is stupid i think. Delivering The Goods however is one of Priests best ever songs. |

Nothing Defeats The Skull...Rumpelstiltskin Grinder
I would agree that Painkiller is their best since SFV and B Steel, but I'd also have to throw in HBFL and Stained Class...it would be really difficult for me to choose between these 5 releases...Painkiller is the most solid of all of them, but each one was fresh and dynamic upon their respective releases at the time... |

Trapped Under Ice - Metallica.
Absolutely. Painkiller is in my opinion the best Priest album. British Steel is awesome but to me cheesy numbers like Living After Midnight and United let it down a little. Screaming is ace as well but i reckon Chains and Pain And Pleasure let it down, I don't think Painkiller has a weak track. |

Dedication...Thin Lizzy
LMFAO...too funny...but you're right, a solid, creative drummer is all the band lacked since the Les Binks era (I wish he would have stuck around over Holland!!!)...maybe Travis could have talked the rest of the guys out of the way they made Turbo...some of the songs were alright, but if they would have made it straight up with some awesome Travis drumming, who knows where the band would have went...I'm not sure he could have helped out Ram It Down at all...to me it was an album they just threw together real quick to move away from Turbo...but Painkiller re-invented Priest to a much higher level (IMO)... |

For Whom The Bell Tolls - Metallica.
If those guys had Travis in the band in 86 i reckon Turbo would have been completly different. It's a crackup when you compare the Priest of 86 to the Priest of 90. The massive change in music, image etc in just 4 years. The only thing that didn't really change was Glenn Tiptons hair, that never changes. |

Mirror Mirror...Def Leppard
Although I can't quite imagine Travis laying down drum tracks for the Turbo album, it would have made sense to bring on a more accomplished drummer after SFV... |

Hallowed Be Thy Name - Iron Maiden.
Yeah, Dave Holland was crap. If you compare what he was doing to what Scott Travis did on Painkiller it's like a whole new band, completely revitalized them. Thing about Painkiller is that even though it's nearly 20 years old it doesn't sound dated whereas some of the other albums do, I put a lot of that down to Dave Hollands unimaginative drumming. |
