Hiya, Becks!!!

I guess "Rhinestone" is also the name of a movie. Never seen it myself.

How's Ada? Is she running around yet?

OK, I guess I was being a bit harsh, so here's a nicer version:

HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The love that you share with your soulmate is practically..."priceless"!

...

How's that?

Shhhhh...I am hoping "it" doesn't know synonyms. "Diminishes" sounds better than the more telling "cheapen!" Hey, we are talking soulmates here. Price has no value!

It is wonderful to read this Tania, I wrote I´m sure that Judas Priest will go on tour again! Then we will go together to this concert, I´m so happy about this, I can´t believe it! Also the Opera Nostradamus will be performed and K. K. Downing comes back again to the Priest, I´m sure! I think Rob knew this, but he wasn´t sure if it´s possible or not, it was open, he will never ever disappoint us! Rob was very brave on his last tour, until the end of his tour; he kept up although he had a bad health!

Heavy Metal makes him feel alive; he sings with pleasure and love, not only for the money, we can feel this in every single tone of his songs! Nobody sings more with enthusiasm as he does! He can´t reach every high scream anymore, but it doesn´t matter, then he will sing his songs a little lower. Anyway, it´s will be great and fantastic again!  We are be faithful to Rob, like he to us and we had right!

Robert Halford is our God, Judas Priest is our religion and we are defenders of the faith forever!

Long live Metal God Sir Robert Halford!

Your friend   Trixie

ROB HALFORD ON JUDAS PRIEST: 'IT'S TURNED OUT NOT TO BE THE FINAL WORLD TOUR'

Judas Priest
Kevin Winter, Getty Images

Almost as soon as they announced their farewell Tour in 2011, the members of Judas Priest started clarifying That What They Meant That was IT Would be Their final Major World Tour . So if you missed them on that run, don't worry: It sounds like the band has had a change of heart.

DURING A recent Interview with WVOX (Via Bravewords ), frontman Rob Halford finally Explained What many Fans Suspected as soon as the Words "farewell Tour" Were uttered: Priest Are not going to Give up the Road any time soon. "Well, it's turned out not to be the final world tour," he admitted. "What we tried to do as we suddenly got into gear again and especially since [new guitarist Richie Faulkner] came on board - we suddenly realized that now there were more opportunities opening up."

Continued Halford, "What was a final global world tour in the way that we've been doing them for the past 30-odd years is just going to change slightly. For example, we're going to do a European tour for about a month or two months, and then instead of jumping on a plane and going straight to New York to start an American tour, we're just going to pull back and put a bit of space to recharge our batteries and to be able to keep that special feeling that Priest always wants to generate when we go onstage. We have a big responsibility - not only to ourselves, but to our fans - that we don't drop the ball. And, so again, it's no different than sports athletes; Michael Jordon wasn't going out on the court as much when he was getting older. But when he went out he could get it in the hoop. But it's not the end of touring. We are still going to be going out there. "

In fact, it sounds like Halford intends to keep screaming as long as his famous pipes hold up. "One of My All-time heroes is Willie Nelson , WHO, as you know, is Celebrating His 80th Year, "he said. "God bless the man. Even Somebody like Tony Bennett , the Great crooner. These guys inspire me as a musician. Seventy is the new 50. Like heavy metal will never die - the Metal God will never die. "

There goes the passage of time for ya. I remember playing "No More Mr. Nice Guy" from Alice when I was a kid taking piano lessons. I laughed at the lyrics.

Only learned years later that it was a real song!

I got to do something pretty cool yesterday.
Went up in a 1929 Ford Tri Motor airliner. Supposedly the first all metal tri engine built. (199 were built)
Only four are still flying. Didn't get alot of altitude and it was slow and loud but it was a blast. I like history
and this was a little step back in time for a moment. Took a couple of videos but they're probably too long
to keep anyone's attention so I probably won't post them. As soon as I get some pics on the computer I'll
put a few here. Some of them are cool.

Someone here called 911 to report a dog left in a very hot car. It was to the point of either smash the window or the dog was going to die. They instructed the person to smash the window and get the dog out. By the time the owners got there, the police were already there and the dog was out of the car barely alive. All the owners cared about was the fact that their window was broken!! They wanted to have the people arrested and the cop looked at them and told them that if anyone was getting arrested it was THEM for leaving the dog in a hot car! I think the only reason they were not fined/arrested for breaking the window was because they were instructed to since the police could not get there in time to do it themselves. Fucking stupid people taking their dog to the store and leaving them for hours in a hot car

There's been a couple of cases here of doggies dying in cars in the summer heat (who is stupid enough to take their dog to the mall?! unless it's a guide dog!) - the SPCA has successfully prosecuted them as far as I remember.

Out of curiousity, just looked up the states that have laws against leaving animals in hot cars (it was fucking NOON here!). Not surprising is that my current state has no such law. What surprised me is that Michigan doesn't either.

The way the poor pooch was slurping up the ice, it certainly didn't hurt. We dumped so much ice in there that it soaked the car. I was really to the point of smashing the window but, knowing the back-ass state in which I live, I am sure that I'd be the one fined and in jail. I had to get back to work but, after so long a time in the store, I'm sure the owner couldn't have taken that much more time.

I'll let you know if the redneck fuckers track me down via the parking lot cameras to demand damages. I swear, if that poor little dog were doing anything else than looking miserable and panting from the heat, I would have smashed that wiindow out in a second and taken the dog!

Did the ice help the poor baby? They deserve to have their window smashed in!! How much longer did it take the assholes to get to their car? I hope the dog was OK! People like that should be given a very big fine and have to pay for the smashed window to save their dog, and the next time their dog taken away. Once you start hitting their wallet, they notice. Good for you and the other good people that tried to help this poor baby.

Agree 100% about pets as well !! Today, I found some jackass left his dog locked in a car with one window barely rolled down on a very hot day. I had them paged at the store and went back out to the car to watch this poor thing panting from the intense heat. Again, went back to page the asshole owner to no avail. When I went back a third time, the girl at customer service said that the people knew all about it and would deal with it soon. That was too much. By that time there were a few others who saw this stupidity with me and we all went and bought glasses of ice and dumped it in the small opening ol' jackass left for this poor animal.

Fuck them. I think THEY should be locked in a car for an hour with 1/4 inch of fresh air under the hot summer sun of the South for an hour!

That's something that really upsets me too HRMG, people adopting pets then all of a sudden oh we need to give it away cos we're moving and they don't allow pets at our new place (how about finding a place where the WHOLE FAMILY is accepted?) or oh we can't afford our pet anymore. Mental illness or doing it to piss us off?? I don't care anymore - ignore is the best solution. I just wish you didn't see them at all, instead of getting the message that you are ignoring them. Oh well, at least I don't have to read their bullshit spam.

I agree, I think you should have to pass a test to have children AND PETS!!! We would have a lot less homeless pets if people had to take a test first. Our neighbors just adopted a dog that was found wandering a nearby subdivision. The tags the dog was wearing gave all her vaccination information, her birthdate, her breed and her name but nothing else. WTF??!! How can you do that? Just leave your dog and walk away?!

Another track from the forthcoming eponymously titled Queensryche album released:  "Fallout."   Simply stunning, especially when compared to anything from the last 3-4 CDs!!

I'm also looking very forward to seeing fan uploads on youtube in the weeks to come chronicling King Diamond's tour of Europe!!    He's got the headlining slot at CopenHell on June 15th(?)...I hope Copenhagen gives him and the band a loud and proud  'Welcome Home!!!'    I know not everyone here can necessarily get by on King Diamond (for which, is fine...hell..anything can be an acquired taste), but I gotta tell all of you...I'm EVER so glad to see him back and kickin' SERIOUS ass!    He looks healthy and his voice is more insane than ever--given the health regiment he's had to follow after his triple-bypass from last year!    The stage set they now have is just killer...totally suitable for the likes of King Diamond!

Was anyone able to attend any of the screenings  for  'Epitaph?'    Just curious what the experience was like--especially with the surround sound and some of the improved audio stakes in many theaters nowadays!

Yes I defend the albums, ideas, decisions and suggestions of Rob Halford and I´m a fanatic, I love everything he do 1000%! It isn´t a shame!

Look on you tube, there are thousands of fans and they love Nostradamus and K. K. Downing, they want him back, here are only a few fans, they aren´t crucial!

It isn´t retarded to love and to want Kenny back to the band, or to love a sophisticated album of Judas Priest and to want to realize this album into an Opera on stage. I don´t think that Robert and Glenn are retarded, because they had this idea and they said everything is possible, but you are able to discuss something, in contrast to the other fans on this page, but you could be more polite!

I accept your meaning, are you able to accept my meaning too?

I dont care if they are retarded, they are fuckin irritating. Trixi, and her 2 friends are obviously not true fans but are fanatics. This we obviously know.

To be a FAN of a band that has 16 studio albums over 35 years you MUST critisiz something, once you like it ALL you inter into the realm of a fanatic.

Priest could put out an album that sounds like a Madona album and they would defend it 100%.

Its a fuckin joke. True fans are fans like Priest Hammer where ever he is,Guido,Becks,HRMG,Budred,Head Banger, myself, and spa,ect....these are fans.

It defies any sort of logic. When someone reaches hundreds (in one case almost a thousand) posts with TWO friends, you'd think they would begin to question their own sanity. Especially when it pours over to YouTube where people are equally as pissed. Most posts either deleted or flagged as spam.

I am with Bud on this one, sad as these people are clearly not playing with a full deck. Even sadder? At least two have children. There really should be some sort of test or license you need in order to procreate.
