I love this song.... the words mean the most to me.....
I think of all of you .. when I hear this song.. My Metal Family !
here are the lyrics!
SECRET SEPARATION
The Fixx
(Cy Curnin)
We are passengers in time Lost in motion, locked together
Day and night by trick of light
But I must take another journey
We must meet with other names
You touched my heart so deeply
You rescued me now free me
Don't watch me cry just see me go
I'll take away the strongest feelings
You will ever know
There will be no more isolation in our secret separation
You touched my heart so deeply you rescued me
Now free me
We are passengers in time Lost in motion, locked together
Day and night, by trick of light
But I must take another journey
We must meet with other names
If you hold me you will hurt me
Be brave
There will be no more isolation in our secret separation
You touched my heart so deeply you rescued me
Now free me
We are matching spark and flame
Caught in endless repetition
Life for life we'll be the same
I must leave before you burn me
I am the stranger who deserts you only to love you
In another life
There will be no more isolation in our secret separation
You touched my heart so deeply, you rescued me
Now free me I'll bear one precious scar that only you will know

Good day Board...it seems eerily quiet out here...
Good Morning Faithful Defenders.. MG, Lady B good to see you fine ladies have decided to not be driven away by unimportant w*nkers.
This has been a really hectic, tiring week for me.. we had the kids home until wednesday morning so only three school days for them this week, shitty rainy weather so they were bored stiff and when we did take them out.. Idk.. it's like somebody thought it would be cool to sneak them an energy drink or something lol. Tuesday, I managed to step in dog shit when there wasn't even a dog around.. How the hell does that happen?
Then yesterday, I was rushing my arse off to get some stuff done before I picked the kids up from shcool. I went to get Craig's father's day gifts (kids are too small to pick out stuff so along with their hand made gifts I get a little something to add to it) anyways, so I've just got enough time to get to the vet to pick up dog food and then get the kids and.. some helpful parking lot attendant (do you have these twits anywhere else in the world or is it just in SA?) he harrases me by my car and I'm taking some money out to give him a tip, I put my keys down on the speaker in my trunk and.. before I can stop him the dick head slams the car shut. I stare at him and say "what did you do?' He realizes what he did and frantically tries to open the trunk again (total Basil Fawlty moment!) Lucky for me and him, I had my blackberry in my pocket so I had to call Craig who was working an hour away to come and help me. He had to drive home, fetch my spare keys and come and rescue me. Thankfully, my friend whose kid goes to the same playschool as mine was kind enough to take them to her house so they were in safe hands and not abandoned at school for two extra hours. Sheesh.. I tell you, ramdom acts of stupidness seem to be happening more and more frequently. I mean, sure, I shouldn't have put my keys down where I did but why on this good earth did that idiot have the need to lunge over me and slam down the door to my trunk??
I'm totally surprised as to how calm I managed to stay, I guess aging is helping lol.
I'm also so dog tired that I skipped gym this morning. With the way my week, no, make that the whole month has been going, I was afraid that I'd probably end up doing something stupid like falling the bike in my spinning class ( I have no idea how anyone could fall off a stationary bike but I'm not chancing it anyways lol).

Yay Friday... I'm finally gonna get outside this dungeon of a house and do stuff finally instead of fart around my house all day long being bored as hell doing nothing but typing up shit and listening to some Priest (which makes my day AWESOME even if I have nothing to do).
Well now, it is Friday!!!!!!!!!!!! And it has been THREE straight days without a certain LOSER defiling the site!!! Oh how things are improving here!! And SO good to see our precious Lady B has returned and not let him drive her away!!! BRAVO!!!!!! (And a VERY poignant poem!!!)
All in all, I think we are well on our way back to normality!!!!!

Ohps... no comment?? Try to imagine that not all peoples
are watching what happends here all day long.
Why should I be pissed off?? Because of you??
I pm'd you just this picture and nothing else!!
Not a single word!! Wasn't a joke and no insult,
was a little greet to you, a reaction of your messages
on my live messenger profile!!
But the real problem with you is that you misunderstand
everything!! Ya, it's a pity.
And I don't talking about other peoples back!! There enough good peoples here they're known it!!
No, I'm not a pussy and I don't have one!! Of course I like them, but that's another story. One of them you misunderstand too!!
Well, you all have fun talking about each other behind people's backs, and PMing to each other about so and so, that is what this is all about isn't? Talking about people, this person is doing this, that person is doing that. Everybody is wanting to know what this person said or done.

I managed to get a fantastic workout done and a clean doggy too lol.. he'll smell by morning thanks to the weather but he looks all spick 'n span for now lol

Hi ya Becks...maybe this is a case of too much of a good thing being bad!?! It's easy to get lost in this world for a bit, some of us on a daily basis. We tend to look at this place as another home away from home and forget that it is a public forum, and as a result we tend to take things a little more personally than maybe we probably should (myself included!!). It's easy to forget why we're all here in the first place, and that's to celebrate our favorite band with like minded ppl...here's to hoping that cooler heads prevail and we can put this silliness to bed!! Must leave for work...take care!! [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Becks from Tuesday, June 16, 2009 4:56:57 AM)

Crowd surfing can cause injuries! Well....
A truly gobsmacking discovery from the land of the nanny state, and then they suggest we should have a 'safe area' at gigs to do it in have any of these people actually been to a gig?
Anyhow good morning to everyone- Strat, new song, what song? Do we get to hear it?

Hello Fellow Defenders!
I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! Ours was wet and cold but you know.. it's all good. Weather is what it is and me getting all uptight about it doesn't change it so I'm trying to enjoy whatever it is.
It's a long weekend for us ( a bit too long) Kids only go back to school on Wednesday so I'm trying to be very creative and keep them busy until then lol.

Hey Paor, here is your AOR shirt! Might be a bit big....
Here:
There I was completely wasted,
Out of work and dumb.
On inside its so frustrating,
As I spam from thread to thread.
You dont know what Im like
You dont have a clue.
If you did youd find yourself,
Laughing like a fool
Braking my brain, Braking my brain
Braking my brain, Braking my brain
So much for all my accounts,
I cant even spam
Ive head every account banned,
Theres nothing in my head....
Braking my brain, Braking my brain
Braking my brain, Braking my brain
You dont know what its like!
Braking my brain, Braking my brain
Braking my brain, Braking my brain
its a song about our resident asshole (scooter, norman, glenn, whatever you want to call him). You just may notice similarities to a certain Priest tune, so here it is: they ripped me off, not the other way around.
