Nah, it's just a common ground subject people use because they can't think of anything else, it's a cop out subject. I can understand if someone wants to talk about getting snowed in or something extreme like that but just getting on the site an letting people know it's raining or sunny or whatever. Boring. Weather isn't boring...it's dynamic! The atmosphere is never resting...something is always happening, even if the day is sunny and calm. It has a huge impact on whether or not your day will be productive or not simply by the temperature of the air. Extreme temperature can take a toll on you if you're out in it for a long time, speeding the process of fatigue or dehydration.
The weather can either aid us or go against us. We can't stop it, especially now as it changes, but we can adapt and work with it. In short, it plays a role in our daily lives. That's why we often talk about it, whether at a bus stop or on a metal band's website. You've been here long enough to know that we've been talking about the weather in our cities before this thread was created, so this topic is nothing new. It's like the Tipton vs. Hetfield thread, or the watcha eatin thread. It ain't gonna die anytime soon. So get used to it.
Appreciate Mother Nature a teensy bit more and the way she seems to work around your schedule, and she might not send a typhoon to NZ and take your metal album of the day to the sea for the fish to enjoy.
Goodnight. (Quoting Message by jimmyjames from Friday, January 09, 2009 11:39:02 PM)

Just seems a little strange to be on an international website and able to communicate with people all over the world and the most mundane of subjects, the weather, rears it's boring fucking head.

I still think this thread is lame. It serves to make Priest fans look boring. By posting in here it shows you've got nothing interesting to say. |

I can't ignore it. It's like when you're waiting for a bus or something and people start talking about the weather. It drives me mad. [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Vaillant 3.0 from Friday, January 09, 2009 11:43:22 PM) |
