Microbrews in most major cities and even my local bar in Detroit had some 350 beers from around the world. Most on tap. I live in nowhere TN and can STILL find most of what I want...(grrr....save for Sheaf Stout!!!!).
Brazil has this horrible concoction (could be the same you describe) called "malzbier." I ask for a dark beer and they give me this sweet (as in diabetic level) SWILL! BLEAH!!! Horrible! Never seen it in Portugal but I am wary having tasted it once!
I still claim that we are the country that truly embraces beer. From all countries and microbrews. Most of you will never have a "Goose Island", an "Old Rasputtn" a "Sierra Nevada" (STOUT!!!). Canada is really the only country where I can TRY and find a store with some 350 beers from around the world. It takes some searching and a major city at that...
Here I am in nowhere, TN and I can drive 10 minutes to find a Xingu, a Mooshead, Becks, Sierra Nevada plus some fifty microbrews like Goose Island (312! Honkers!) or Detroit's Bell's Porter, Stout.

Three and a half weeks! That's not too bad, you can do that standing on your head! In the home strech now! Yeah!!! [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Becks from Friday, March 27, 2009 8:57:16 PM) | | Becks wrote: | | Oh oh oh the red one's name is Knuckles! He's cool lol!

I'm guessing you're asking about my Craig, he is good, 3.5 weeks left in Afghanistan then back home, yes I am counting down already LMAO. | | adrianaec_88 wrote: | | how's craig?.. I liked the red one on Sonic, don't remember it's name lol.....

I had a PSP, but my husband decided to recharge the battery with a charger his workmate made (they're electronics technicians so fix electrical thingies lol). Not surprisingly the battery got killed, I was none too pleased. I told my husband he shouldn't have used a charger that wasn't from the factory itself. I also said if there was any justice in the world his workmates PSP would get fried too | | adrianaec_88 wrote: | | haha! I really didn't like sega... except for Sonic lol.... when I was a child I used to go with my brother or sis to go a rent some games... those were the days...

| | Becks wrote: | | LMAO Mario Bros is cool! I played the original for the first time in years on our flights to and from London earlier this year, was great fun! One of us would keep a look out and the other would climb up the side of the machine and feed the balls straight into her mouth so we would get maximum tix.
And I don't remember the name but it has the Circles like a dartboard, with holes going up the middle. Each hole has a different points score. We used to do the same... Climb up the side of the machine and drop the balls into the highest points score hole.
Of course we also cheated on that game with the snapping crocodiles... They slide out and you have to hit them with the batton... Screw that! We used to team up and take 3 crocs each.. hit them with our hands. (Quoting Message by Becks from Friday, March 27, 2009 7:10:05 PM)

I can't recall ever being to one (we don't have them here that I know of LOL) but I do know what you are talking about LOL. We have places like that called Timezone (not restaurants, just game places), where you go play games, get tickets and your tickets win you crappy things. That's a good strategy for getting more tickets LOL! Sounds like the sort of thing I would do haha.
