Thank you for the review! Are you sure they played Nostradamus and not Prophecy? Many people cnfound this two songs....
I hope they played "Nostradamus"! If so- how was it? There might be one more song I'm missing. Seems like the song list was 17 instead of 16. |

Nothing from any of those albums. I was really surprised they didn't play anything from the Painkiller album. Still an awesome show. Steeler was awesome to hear in concert. |

Thanks for the info... Did Priest play any Turbo, Ram it Down or Painkiller songs or maybe Desert Plains? Edited at: Monday, June 29, 2009 11:49:09 PM |

A week and a half until the first show of the tour...still no word on supporting act(s)! Will Priest entertain us the whole time? That would be awesome to have an extra long set instead of an opening act! |

Hey everybody,
I have 2 extra tickets, front row and sixth row, to the Cleveland show on 7/14. I am selling them at face value to Priest fans.
The front row ticket is in section 3, row A, seat 1, and costs $144. This is in the right section on Glenn's side and the seat is on the aisle by the center section.
The sixth row ticket is in section 2, row F, seat 3, and costs $90. This is in the center section and the seat is on KK's side.
I can accept PayPal or a money order. I will send them for free using USPS priority mail with a delivery confirmation number.
Please send me a PM if you're interested in one or both.
Thanks.
Markus

Just as i stated in my previous posts, some MISERABLE C*CKSUCKING promoter or some shit decided to announce the on-sale date for Merriweather-Post (MD) THREE F*CKING DAYS before they actually go on sale. It takes 3 days just to get in touch with some people, let alone confirmation that, yes, they'll definitely pay for the tickets if i go online and buy them with my card.
oh, and good luck finding somebody to commit to watching your kids on 3 days notice
Making matters worse, the same MISERABLE C*CKSUCKER scheduled the tix to go on sale on a FRIDAY at 10 AM! It's 75 days out from the show, and this MISERABLE C*CKSUCKER couldn't wait 24 HOURS to get these tickets on sale? oh OK, i'll just stop WORKING from 930 to 1030 friday to hop online and take it up the ass from ticketbastard. God forbid the MISERABLE C*CKSUCKER would wait 24 hours and open the sales on a saturday (like EVERY OTHER FRIGGIN CONCERT...EVER)!
wish i knew who was responsible for this bullshit...

That's an awesome story and great you have been able to catch them so many times. Kentucky is not exactly the metal capital of the south (lol). I had other opprotunities but at the time the travel made it cost prohibitive (I was young and broke). SFV? Good lord that was the first show I went to, but I couldn't actually go in because my Dad wouldn't let me go to a concert, so I rode my bike to the venue anyhoo (Salt Palace, SLC UT) and listened from the outside. Told Pops I was going to a movie...
Defenders was the first time I actually saw them on stage, since then I've only missed the Ram It Down tour. Sometimes seeing them more than once per tour.

I found this out too late to get close seats. Doubt I will go there also now, probably just go to Indy (4th row).

sorry, bluddy, the word "they" in my first sentence wasn't necessarily referring to the band or this website. it was referring to whoever is responsible for the mess that i described. another reason i'm so pissed off about the whole 'buying concert tickets' runaround is this: the first dates announced for this tour did not include any shows near my home (Lancaster PA). the closest was the PNC Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ, which i was reluctantly willing to travel to in order to see JP, even though everything i saw on the net said that venue sucks with a capital "S". well, i waited and waited and there was no mention of the holmdel show on TM or the venue's site, even though the shows immediately before AND after were already listed on TM and on sale. LUCKILY, the second round of shows (including merriweather post in MD) was announced before the holmdel tickets went on sale!! had i bought tickets to that shithole PNC center in holmdel, and then 'they' announced a closer better venue, i would have been ROYALLY PISSED OFF! ALL DATES should be announced at the same time, period. i dont' wanna hear "that's the way the music industry operates" excuses. MAKE IT HAPPEN. the whole process is utter bullshit, and THE FANS are the ones being screwed. in the past 25 years, concert ticket prices have risen 1000%!! and what have the fans gotten for all that extra money? ticketbastard, ticket brokers, and the end of 'first come-first served' ticket availabilty for the best seats. everybody involved in the process is getting rich and the fans are getting shit on.
