I think the Saints will be in the "bowl" this year!!  I am SOOO glad they kicked the shit out of NE last night.  That was an awesome game.  Its time for NE's bubble to be burst.

On another note...I went to my 1st NFL game this past sunday.  The Bills and the Dolphins.  The Bills are fired up after that ass kicking and my hats off to Ryan Fitzpatrick.  He did an excellent job in the QB slot and socred a nice 31 yard run in for a TD!  The Bills are showing some promise now.  The play NE in a few weeks and after damn near beating them back at the beginning of the season and the effort they have been putting forth since Dicks booting, I have a feeling they will pull it off this time.  That would be, for around here anyway, a sweet sweet victory.....

I'm a patient jets fan. I'm not one of those fans that needs to win every game. I'm a realist. We need to build with this kid. The jets will be good in time. But Time Takes Time.

j.d diamond i couldnt agree more. Patience is needed with sanchez because lets face it, it was a gamble. I think with more experience he will get better. I think hes a bit nervous and some of his mistakes have been mental(but alot have been typical rookie mistakes) and benching him will just make it worse. Its nice that the jets are finally making some smart draft decisions lately.
[J.D. DIAMOND] Sunday, November 29, 2009 11:35:19 PM
Well you guys did have Bill Parcells as coach and Vinnie Testaverde as QB back in 97/98 but Elway wasn't havin' it!!! lol!  Sanchez actually looks good,I know the last 5 games hes been flobbleing a little but over all he is the right choice. I think sometimes coaches are too quick to bench the starting QB....Elway,Aikman,Marino,Kelly all of them struggled at first even Peyton Manning,so I think that the Jets should be patient with Sanchez.

Hey thanks ron! Yeah I've been into NFL since the 70's because of my dad used to worship football! I have no knowledge of collage football at all, very littel, but NFL you bet! And yes Fraiser's D is pretty much the best in the NFL right now I agree....coming from the 85' Bears team they are buying whatever he is selling!!! lol! Wasn't Faraiser a safty for the Bears or was he a corner back? Can't remember but he was very good!!!

And you hate the Colts??? lol! Peyton Manning is my FAVORITE QB in the NFL and I've been pulling for him ever since he got out of Tennesee,I know he always loses in the playoffs although the Colts won a Super Bowl, with what talent they have with Manning you'd think they would of won more...however they have not got a running game really,Addai was injured last season I know and is better this season but they always can't seem to run the ball in the freaking playoffs!!!Anyways,Peyton Manning during the regular season has to be equal to Joe Montana man!!!!!   [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by ron h from Sunday, November 29, 2009 8:39:11 PM)

J-E-T-S JETS! JETS! JETS! Ohh man we actually won a game that I watched!!! Maybe not a great win but a win nonetheless. I'm just hoping the Jets can pull a 500 by the end of the season. If we go 8-8 i'll be satisfied after the beatings we've been taking. I still have faith that Mark Sanchez will be okay as well. I feel its better he makes the mistakes he makes now than later and I do believe the kid has good stuff. Then again this is the Jets we are talking about so ya never know. We've been jinxed with QB's since Namath. Also in addition losing Leon Washington sucked hard even if our rushing game is still awesome(it kinda has to be) and I feel this season also went to crap after Kris Jenkins our nose tackle went out for the year. He was the foundation of that defense and I think they feel naked without him. But like I said, 8-8 with a rookie QB who nobody was completely sure of and a few injuries and a pretty bad losing streak? I'd say that a START. I just wish to god I never became a jets fan lol. To anyone reading DON'T DO THAT TO YOURSELF!

I'm quite impressed with your football knowledge J.D.  The Saints are a force to be reckoned with, no doubt, but I like the Vikings defense as a whole more than the Saints.  Leslie Fraizer has that "D" looking really good up there.  Though I'm in Indiana, I can't stand the Colts!!!  I'd like to see the Steelers get their asses handed to them!!!!  LOL

Oh definately,I do like how the Saints are undefeated as Drew Brees is totally on fire and even though the Saints have never been to the Super Bowl yet, you have to pull for Minnesota, they have NEVER won a Super Bowl, between 1970 and 1977 the Vikings went to 4 Super Bowls and lost them all.The first one was Joe Capp as QB and the next 3 Fran Tarkenton was QB but yet thanks to the Buffalo Bills thats all people remember is how the Bills lost 4 in a row!!! LOL!!! Hopefully Favre can take the Vikings to the Super Bowl and WIN! If The Patriots or Colts or Steelers are there then that would make for a classic!!!!

LOL  Now that he's not playing for the Packers, I can enjoy watching him play as I hate the Packers...No offense Jeanine!!  Yeah, he still kicked our asses twice this year, but I have all the respect in the world for him and what he's STILL able to do on the field.  These younger QB's (and a few of the vet's) could learn a lot from the way he conducts himself on the field.  I think I'm gonna have to root for him come playoff time!!

LOL!!!!! HAHAHA I had fun posting it ron!! lol! Yeah isn't Favre amazing or what? Even if they get beat in the playoffs it doesn't matter,40 years old and still commanding the field like a general, his accuracy has gotten better!!!!!!

Well guys, I am not suprised by the outcome.  Even I am in awe of what Favre is still capable of doing.  The Bears have been seeing him twice a year for 17 out of his 19 years, and he is now 23-10 against us!!!  Did he look awesome today or what?!
[J.D. DIAMOND] Sunday, November 29, 2009 5:35:24 PM
Me too Freeze! Doesn't the quarterback/running back duo of Favre/Peterson remind you of Elway/Terrell Davis??? lol! I mean man,I don't think Brett has had this good of a team even if they don't make it to the Super Bowl,I still think this Vikings team may be even better than Favre's Super Bowl Championship team with Green Bay in 1997??? It sure makes for a debate though huh?? lol!

[J.D. DIAMOND] Sunday, November 29, 2009 2:33:13 PM
lol! Well...."any given Sunday" ron...you know upsets happen, but I'd have to say I think that the Bears will be blown out too,Favre is just on fire lately, its very hard to stop that guy....they couldn't even keep him retired!! lol!!

There have been outstanding quarterbacks throughout the NFL but never will there ever be another a quarterback on the same level as "Joe Montana". Joe was,is and forever will be the very best.

Had high hopes for the Falcons this year but I think Matt Ryan may not be as consistent this year. The secondary's having problems too.
[J.D. DIAMOND] Thursday, November 26, 2009 2:57:17 PM
I know thier offense needs work even with Favre there last year, but when he was on the Jets and before his arm went out on him the fucking defense of the Jets were terrible man, they had so many blown coverages it was not funny anymore...every other play "touchdown" by the other team without a defensive Jet on the tv screen for god's sake what happened to the defense????
