Bollocks. The band has descended into irrelevance. The only people keen to hear what they come up with next are the core dozen or so people who regularly post on this site. The rest of the audience are just keen to hear the same old set they've been cranking out since 82. They are, I'm sad to say, a nostalgia act now and one that can't fill arenas at that. This is not a band at the top otf their game. Being able to play your set competently doesn't mean your at the top of your game. You would hope after 30 years they could do that with there eyes closed. When a band is at the top they are generating excitement among the fans. This band does not do that any more. They are trying to scrape every last cent out of it before they have to start wheeling the Metal God out there in a wheelchair. What's the point of keeping for posterity performances from when you are well past your peak and unable to fill arenas and denying your fans performances from when you are at the top of your game? Weird. |

new Live Album? Why not. Being an Epitaph tour it could be the right way to say goodbye, but we are still waiting for a new studio Album and then maybe a new tour to promote it and then maybe an epitaph Live Album, so it could be in 2015.... As for a live Epitaph album, I believe you are correct. As I look at this tour and had the pleasure of seeing it three times, it would be a great idea. In 1979 Unleashed In The East hit record store shelves and I believe was the album that had people starting to really take a listen.
The band has been performing at a blistering pace and each and every show I seen was breathtaking and would definitely be worth having in our collections. The show alone with the pyros and lasers was cool as hell. As they take a break I look to their date in Japan again at the Buddakon. This is where Unleashed was made and I think it would be very nostalgic of them to re-release Unleashed in the East ( Epitaph Style ) almost 40 years later.
KEEP IT METAL!!

realy, it should only take the band away from new material for what a day? get a real producer to deal with it, dont co produce shit and then get on with the tour, write the new CD on off days and get done and record....
