I could not agree more more, guid. I have often said that the majority of those that "no longer come here" are not really all that missed anyway. Dawn, so sorry to hear about your kitty. In the country, you can have outdoor kitties, but in the city, or anything resembling city, you must keep them inside as they are not car savy. I don't mean to lecture. I hit an animal about 6 years ago, and I tried to hard to stop on time and avoid it, but he doubled back on me and ended up under my wheels. I still carry the guilt of that with me and always will feel like If I could have done something different in those few seconds, but I know in my heart i could not. Took out a beautiful 4 month old Lab. Never felt more like shit in my life and to recount it causes pain. MOST people feel loss for such an event. MOST people stop. MOST people are Humane.
Sorry for your loss truely.
