I knew a friend who had one and I splet is his guest room next to his room and never even heard the thing. But then again, I had Flora in the bed with me and she snored back then! She had to have her tonsils removed and has not sored since.
Wouldn't hurt to get sleep tested though, just to see if it's happening.
I'm with you, if I were forced to sleep on my back I would go insane! Been a belly sleeper/ fetal position sleeper my whole life, would never get an ounce of sleep on my back.
I'm off for now, Flora wants my computer. I can't believe he wouldn't have the newest machine. Damn think was still a bit loud. Then again, I am an extremely light sleeper. Plus, I'd have to sleep on my damn back!! Ah...maybe someday.

I am actually in a bit of shock over the sudden death of Natasha Richardson. WTF? Died after an accident on a bunny hill??! What type of crap luck is THAT? Here I just get back from cliff-jumping double black diamond runs at almost 10,000 feet where you easily could have lost control and fallen off a cliff and she dies because of a fender bender on a green run. What a pain in the bum. I also have to record every reading I get for when I go back to the doc in a couple of weeks *sigh*

Well I went back to the doctor about my night time cough/breathing problems. I now have a second inhaler, a spacer and a peak flow meter I have to use every time I use my inhalers, before and after. What a pain in the bum. I also have to record every reading I get for when I go back to the doc in a couple of weeks *sigh*

I will certainly keep on top of things MG, thanks I don't want to feck around with something like breathing lol!
Holy moley, 86 times in a minute????? A normal minute should have 10-20 breaths! Plus that doctor sounds incredibly negligent, I would have had his guts for garters. Yes my dad is soo stubborn,.,,, Men are usually less attentive when comes to healthy things, and doing them.. but some men I know are health conscience.
You should go for a sleep study Guido, and see what they say...
Becks should too if the problem doesnt get better or gets worse... Its very important... Very...

Not so much an alarm but it forces air to avoid choking. You are right though. I probably should be using one but can't STAND sleeping on my back! Men, eh?

Nope not allergic to anything (very rarely get hayfever when I'm around polleny flowers lol). Our duvet on the bed is only an el cheapo one, don't think it contains feathers LOL! It's so annoying cos I've never had respiratory probs before. |

Are you allergic in general to animals, dust, mold? I take it at this time of the year you don't use any pillows/comforters in bed with feathers in them do you? OMG sleep apnea must be very scary! I would be mad too if my father had to use something like an oxygen machine and refused to!
