We met up with friends at the show and they had been to Ripper's Tap House the night before. They asked him if he was going to the Priest show and he said he wasn't sure. Right then and there I knew that nothing had been planned for Ripper to go onstage. I really think that is a shitty thing to do to him. Without Ripper, there would have been NO Priest for Rob to come back to!! The other thing that pisses me off is when they say stuff like we'll be doing a song from every album or this includes our entire catalog.... Um, no it doesn't. They should say our albums/catalog with Rob, IMO.
Wow, I knew that they didn't let him write anything and I heard they told him how to sing, but I didn't realize it was THAT controlling! Well, once Rob left, Glenn completely took over. Had they let Ripper have some input in how he sang the songs, maybe the vocal lines would have been better. I love Ripper's voice, but there was always something not quite right about how he was singing on those two albums. This explains that for sure - you have to let the singer have some freedom in how they sing.
I wouldn't rip you about you saying that they need Ripper back even though I don't agree with it. Now I see why you said it. I really wonder if this Baxter lawsuit is holding up stuff with Priest as well....

true, but they came off 6 years without working. once rob rejoined they had worked 5 straight years, so less urgency was felt.

| wow could you imagine if a band would go out and re-do their earlier tours for their fans now ??????? oh yeah , iron maiden already did that, TWICE , they keep themselves out there and current because their fans get a new release and at the least a tour every 2 or so years -15 albums in 30 years , i love the priest, but lately its in the rotation less and less as i listen to the same 10 albums over and over, its TIME !!!!!! Once they get their new album out they'll be back on track exploding with fans again.. Hopefully...

As for the Halford band, I hope what Eddie Trunk said is true and they will release another album. But for those of you that enjoy the thundering bass that Mike Davis brings to the Halford band, here is a link to the new band he is in. I don't know what this means for Halford, but all the other guys have other projects as well, so it may not mean anything. The band is called Death Dealer and you can preview 3 songs here:

Yup, thanks (to you as well, HB). That was it. work the steering wheel a little bit and it unlocked the ignition. As I said, this seems to be so common that it should be in the manual!

@guido reading further down on one of your posts that is exactly how i fixed me mazda by turning the wheel back and forth until it would "unlock the steering column" i park with my wheels straight now no matter what, use the e brake if i am on a hill and have never had a problem since

sorry, I missed this. it will probably have no effect. the lock is an anti theft system. take out the key and turn the wheel. sometimes happens by mistake when you hit it with your knee getting out.
didnt think of that before, but thats easier than any messing with the cylinder.

Hey HB, remember a while back when I asked your advice about my key (ANY, I have three) not turning in my car? Well, happened today on the way to work. Before, it was in a parking lot and I only had the one key. Today, it was at home and I had access to all three. Not a one would turn that damn thing. Last time around you suggested graphite.
