Sean Morgan (from Seether is actually Shaun Welgemoed) had to change his name because nobody in America could pronounce that lol. They won last year's SAMA award that is the South AFrican Music Awards. And would you believe that some local assclowns actually complained and said that Seether deserted us and became an American band. The truth is that since those boys were teenagers they used to be called Saron Gas, they changed their name to Seether and were forced to go oversees to sign a worthwhile contract. When they were here, they struggled to get on bills and worked their butts off and then when they're finally recognized the assclowns who claim to be diehard fans wonder why they had to go elswhere to do what they were ment to do.


Never was I prouder than on the 15 June last year, I stood front row and winked at Shaun as Seether came home as a headlining act and not one of many insigniicant wannabe's who were in line to take the stage.

Well today, I'm going totally out of my league and all for love (or whatever that is ROFL!!  Sorry, just finished reading this boring as hell biography on the Royal Family and I loved that faux paux quote by Prince Charles it's so funny!!)

Anyways, getting back onto the topic of those things we do for love; tonight, I shall be accompanying my husband to a reaggae/dub/calypso music festival. I don't even know what calypso music is but tonight I shall find out. The highlights of the show will be The Dennis Bovel Dub band and Linton Kwesi Johnson (anyone here even heard of them?) Craig is a huge LKJ fan and his eyes just light up when he heard he was going to be touring here so.. when he came home with tickets yesterday I couldn't say.. 'er, can't go.. I'm washing my hair and repainting the dog kennel' lol.. 

I generally love all music so the fact that it's live should be entertaining enough.. just in case though, I shall be bringing enough beer money and my trusty ipod with lol.
