Many do, my dear. You see, people like him and those that would "enjoy" his behavior have incredible insecurities. Much like the bullies of school days gone by, they see in us a strength they will never have and so they choose to ridicule as a form of self- validation or perceived "superiority" over what they fear or desire. There is none weaker than the weak minded. Two days ago an old school mate of mine had to go through something that I know I'd never cope with. Her little two month old baby died after putting up a fierce battle for his little life. He was born with a rare heart defect, had to endure open heart surgery when he was six days old, developed a blood infection and had kidney failure.
His mom is my age.. 30. I have no idea how I would even begin to deal with this. Not only does she have to work through her grief, she also has to explain to her five year old son that his little brother is never coming home. My heart honestly bleeds for her and her family.
What pisses me off is that with all this type of sadness and heartache in this world, we still get dickheads who gain joy from wreacking havoc and ugliness in the lives of others.
No matter what your beliefs are, the facst are that this life is way too short for nastiness and negativities. There is enough of it happening everyday do we really need those sick puppies like Angeleyes666 to bring more of it into our short, short lives?
I just am beyond grateful that I have two healthy, strong children. I pray that they stay that way and outlive me by many years. |
