...lol...I can picture you in a sleazy version of the movie ROAD HOUSE...it starred Patrick Swayze, Sam Elliot and Kelly Lynch...have you seen it??...if you haven't, they're hired 'bouncers' to clean up the bar(s)...are you familiar with Jeff Healey??...he was in the movie as well, he's blind and plays the slide guitar (I believe)...pretty cool music, along the lines of Stevie Ray Vaughn...

that's too funny...I must have been 9 or 10 when I had 2 boys waiting for me to get off crossing guard duty so they could hurt me...as soon as I heard the 'off-duty' whistle, I scurried behind the bar and went to run across the blvd. when I heard a truck horn start blaring...yeah!!...I ran right in front of it!!...from that point forward I swore I'd never run away again!!!

thank you and thank you...I'm pouring my first cup of coffee DF...eh, that's just an excuse haha...

...I have 3 brothers and a niece who, at one time or another, have studied Tae-kwan-do (?)...I have never ventured into martial arts as I figured if I was to ever be put in a bad position (and I have) If I couldn't get out through my past experiences and Marine training, then I was done for anyway...    [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Deep Freeze from Friday, February 13, 2009 7:09:37 AM)

[ron h] Friday, February 13, 2009 6:52:31 AM
sorry Necro...but I know absolutely nothing about Cricket...so where even...except you didn't mention Cricket, did you??...hmmm...baseball is our eqivalent to your cricket...and Tommy Lasorda is a beloved former manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers and a fun loving guy...he's loved by most fans of baseball in general...DF and I just happen to like the team as well...

You got THAT right, my friend! Perhaps a universe of his own....HA!!!  Yes, baseball is far more popular here. You lot are soccer fans. I suppose there is some strange connection there, since soccer is just not that big of a deal here in the states! HA!!! Baseball is our soccer!

Ron, well said. I am a HUGE Lasorda fan. LOVE Vinnie (Scully) too! In fact , he is the Dodgers to me.
