For different reasons, same here. It's hard when your heroes turn out to be something different than you envision ( or have built them up to be ), but after my New England conservative mind got past it he exceeded everything I thought.

Talk about Nieve, one of my best friends was gay in HS and I really knew she was different, but I was just too close to really see it.
