By "wiped out" you imply that the card is at fault when it is most likely the driver that was hosed. Software vs. hardware. The hardware is fine. Your problem is software.

It was an import my local dealer has ordered.

Yes i agree...I have downloaded stuff that is either far too expensive to purchase, unavailable or where i only want one or two songs off an entire album. But i don't make a habit of it. I like to have the proper cd case in my collection. I have a shop close by here that sells cd's nice and cheap! 10 - 15 bucks for most. I purchased all my JP cd's for $10 brand new. Except HBFL which i had to order and pay $26.

Well that's what i got when i ordered the CD, I did however pick up the vinyl with the correct British title.. it's now framed and hanging on my wall - Got it for $30 - 2nd hand of course.
