I'm not listening to anything at the moment LOL! Just thought I'd pop in haha. DC - I like having original CDs too, there's just something about having the proper thing in my hands that I love. |

Remember Tomorrow - Maiden
Hardware.... Software...... sounds intresting. Yeah i know it was the driver that was buggered last time, i'm guessing that's whats wrong again. I would love to BUY the BEST OF JP! if i can FIND it.... jeeezzz [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by guidogodoy from Thursday, February 19, 2009 6:52:21 PM) | | guidogodoy wrote: | | Oh, don't cry...you make me feel bad! My intentions are good (as are my views about THE BEST OF JP! BUY IT and you'll see!).
By "wiped out" you imply that the card is at fault when it is most likely the driver that was hosed. Software vs. hardware. The hardware is fine. Your problem is software. | | devils_child wrote: | | Back Street Kids - Sabbath
Guido's picking on my technical terms again.... It's happened before, when an update was performed it corrupted the sound card...(I'm not a computer geek so i don't know excatly what to call it) either way - and result... I had no sound! and the only way to fix it was to pay for a hired geek. | | guidogodoy wrote: | | Ed. note. Sound cards are RARELY "wiped out." Probably a better topic for the new "computer problems" thread but, in a nutshell, it almost always boils down to an IRQ conflict (usually with the videocard) and / or driver issues. | | devils_child wrote: | | Yeah... i'm just about to try that. If my sound card has been wiped out again i'm going to scream |

Really? It was released as Hell Bent THERE? I thought that was only an American thing. I even bought a copy of the LP just to have the original title "Killing Machine." Paid a FORTUNE for THAT as I had to get it from England. Hmmm...curious. Yes i agree...I have downloaded stuff that is either far too expensive to purchase, unavailable or where i only want one or two songs off an entire album. But i don't make a habit of it. I like to have the proper cd case in my collection. I have a shop close by here that sells cd's nice and cheap! 10 - 15 bucks for most. I purchased all my JP cd's for $10 brand new. Except HBFL which i had to order and pay $26. | | Necroticist wrote: | | My ass - there's not a living (or undead) soul online who has never downloaded music... | | devils_child wrote: | | How dare you suggest that?!?! LOL... I don't have an objection to that. My biggest problem with it is that i like my collection to have the real version of the music not a burnt disc. It looks nicer.
