I was his Chauffer/Personnal Assistant/errand boy...so getting his pictures developed was on my many, many tasks (as well as unpacking his souvineirs)...it was incredible some of the things he would get, and the hundreds of pics, putting them on DVD format for social gatherings and what not, it was almost like going with them!!!

wow, he must have had a great travel agent. Did you at least get to see pictures of his tours ?
[ron h] Friday, January 30, 2009 6:14:09 AM
Some years back I used to work for an Indian doctor, and when he'd travel with his son, he would always book a 1 or 2 week travel tour to where ever he was going...for less than a couple thousand dollars he would get to see all and everything was covered...something to think about...

Promiss! And do the same if you come to my part of the country. We'll find a way too. No way I'd miss that chance!

...if you ever do get back to this part of the world, you have to let me (us) know!!!  It would be a travesty to not find a way for some of us to get together, being that we'd be this close!!

That's news for me also. I had no idea the law had changed. Although it doesn't make a difference to me now as I need my passport anyway. But it's nice to know and if I ever go back to that part of the country, I will have to check about visas, in case this has changed too

I must state for the record (as to NOT slight my good friends that live in Canada) that while I was in Detroit several months back, I DID plan to cross the border and check out a casino or two, but I discovered that you now need a passport, which I do not have.  A State ID would have gotten me in on the shuttle, but I would have had problems coming back, so I didn't risk it as I was there for business, not pleasure...

Well fellow Metalheads, I see I'm waking up early on my day off in time to catch a ride on the snot/phlegm super highway...yummy!!!

a Hot Toddy is what's needed to cast the evil leaks away...I think Necro hit it with the whiskey, lemon and tea served hot!!  It's what my Dad use to do (then again while we we're teething babies he'd rub said whiskey on our gums!!)...but it worked!!

There ya go Lalouve!  A tasty combo with a nice kick!  I'm going to warm up some beef & barley soup for dinner tonight myself.

Yeah, I wouldn't chance my internal organs on liking that wicked combo.  Necros friend must be a mad biochemist or something.  Maybe it also explains while the Brits have a reputation for bad food (fish & chips not withstanding).

Agreed - Garlic and honey sounds more like a recipe for a diharea than anything else to me.

I agree with you Soy, those are all great songs that are underrated.  In addition, I think that Savage and Heroes End from Stained Class are deserving to be in that list, as is When The Night Comes Down.

Scorp, Desert Plains is one of my favorite JP songs.  I think they need to pull that one out of mothballs also and give it a good playing for the Metal Masses.
