On a different subject, does anyone know about testing in the new FermiLab in Europe where scientists are researching Higgs boson (searching for a "god particle)?  My question's are:
1.  How do they get the atom to move as fast as it has to for these test's?
2.  How will scientist's be able to identify it?
3.  What will be the ramification's if they are successful? 
Anyone who could put my mind at ease would be very appreciated.  Thank You.
