[aleksandralm] Saturday, March 26, 2011 1:58:08 PM
In my case it was "Ram it down". We were driving a car and my husband was playing the cd, first I wasn't really paying attention, but then suddenly it was " what a nice guitar solo! who's playing?" "well, it's not a solo, these are two guitars" " But who's playing?" "Judas Priest"  " I like it, play it again and turn the volume up"
Then I started searching on youtube and really got hooked. I like guitars:)
Obviously I discovered more quite fast, and now I would just play them over and over again. And I would like to go to the concert,

Metal Meltdown, It was in '04, I was 15 and I heard it in a now defunct radio station "La Marca 94.1" in Guatemala in a program named "Abismo Rock"... I was a newbie in Metal and when I heard that intro solo, I was fascinated, and the first thing i did the day after was buying the Painkiller album, it was my first of J.P.
[Darling S] Sunday, February 27, 2011 2:25:23 AM

PAINKILLER, around 1992 maybe, I was blasting Metallica's last two cassettes over and over and my mother was completely sick of it so she bought me the Painkiller LP saying "listen to these guys, there'd be no Metallica without them", man I must have been 10 years old!
[mustainerhoads] Friday, February 25, 2011 11:31:00 AM

[anto] Monday, February 21, 2011 12:19:05 PM
La primera cancin que escuch de Judas Priest fue Freewhel Burning y el primer disco logicamente Defender Of The Faith, sencillamente heavy Metal 100%.
[someheads] Sunday, February 20, 2011 1:58:17 AM
Actually, the first Priest album which I heard was Defenders of the Faith. And I still consider it as the best in Heavy Metal.
[onetreehill] Saturday, February 19, 2011 11:08:24 PM
Exciter - Stained Class in its entirety. It was new. It was too heavy for my friend. I was a fan for life.
[knac] Friday, February 18, 2011 6:58:17 PM
When I was in third grade (back in the 80's) my friend had his older brother's walkman. He called me over during recess and put the headphones on me and told me to listen. I heard Breaking the Law and from that point forward I have been a Priest fanatic. It's been 30 plus years since then and priest is still my favorite metal band in the world!

Breaking the Law
[vhrocks] Friday, February 18, 2011 11:40:13 AM
Heading Out To The Highway. When a website said 'Judas Priest', I didn't believe it's the name of a band. I was a "starter rocker", and I knew a few bands. So, I searched and found one of my favorite songs.
[Dragonnade27] Thursday, February 17, 2011 7:03:45 PM
Painkiller. I was playing Rock Band 2, doing that Rolling Stone magazine challenge thing. I hated it at first because it was so hard. But eventually it grew on me and later at 1 in the morning, I went to Walmart and bought Screaming For Vengeance. I have been hooked with Priest ever since.
[heykyleinsf] Wednesday, February 16, 2011 2:17:34 AM

Electric Eye, on GTA VC

[Cooler] Tuesday, August 10, 2010 4:55:46 PM
Most likely Rocka Rolla, as that song was already familiar to me when the album was released.

Then again, a few songs which I don't count as being part of JP legacy (and which I can't really remember anymore) were earlier ones.
[tattooguy] Monday, August 09, 2010 2:18:17 PM
Breaking the law . I was babysitting and was looking through the record collection and saw the album British steel .Thought what a blinding cover and breaking the law was the first track on it .I was hooked .

The first Priest song I heard was "Nightcrawler."  They played it on WSOU 8.95 [which is the best college radio station in New Jersey and in the world].  I was hooked from there.  I kept calling up that station and requesting the song.
[onetreehill] Saturday, June 19, 2010 8:39:34 PM
Exciter live at a Vancouver concert. It was a show that I went to on a bit of a whim. After the show, I immediately purchsed Sad WIngs of Destiny, Stained Class and Hell Bent For Leather. That was their most recent release. Sin After Sin and Rocka Rolla followed shortly after

What grabbed my attention at first was The Ripper, My friends older bro was building up a 72 monte carlo. he had 2 house speakers in back window of car and had it cranked while he worked on it. It was only drowned out when he reved that 454 with open headers. aprox 1979/80. he used to take us out in that car, and it was the first car i ever caught air in! we werent quite teens yet and he was so cool!

[TheElectricEyedRouge] Friday, April 17, 2009 11:32:58 AM
I can't remember cause my parents listened (and still does through me )  to Priest... I remember my dad had a white Painkiller shirt once when I was very young but I think it was like, either Breaking the Law, Painkiller or any other of their awesome songs. But when I was 14 (last year, lol), I went through my dad's musical DVDs for concerts like AC/DC, Pantera, etc. I see Judas priest Rising in the East Live DVD and take that  out (cause I was bored then and had nothing to do) and I heard The Hellion/Electric Eye.
