id pm them but im not even sure if theyd read it
so im doing it here.....ive not had a very good time of it lateley
due to family problems and other things....my freind has offered sympathy

JD. When Painkiller was released I thought it was too aggressive and didnt fit the style of priest. I wasnt into metalica or any of the thrash bands much, but it grew on me and I am glad they went that way for sure.
To each their own I guess. I like the ripper albums also. for me, Rocka rolla, nost and ROS are my bottom three. |

While I love Lochness, if you're gonna cut it short, bring some scissors AND some glue. Re-arranged right, it would make a great 4-5 minute song, IMO.
As for AOR and ROS. I dunno, JD. Just like Angel, Redeemer holds a special place in my heart. Love Richie's solos, love the diverse themes covered in the writing, and I'm loving where the 'Priest sound is going. I do miss KK, but hey. It is what it is. Hope he's happy with his golf course.

About ROS. . ..that's fair enough....I work with a guy(Pat Goodmanson) long time Priest fan... Like ALL albums except the 2 Ripper LPs ....and. Painkiller?
He HATES it. He says it's the songs themselves he doesn't like....so he only detests 1 Lp with Rob....
its just odd to me but it is what it is . .lol....Its like food...we all can't enjoy the same foods.....some yah but not every single type of good across the board ya know as you are obviously aware of.
I know nobody here would rate ROS higher than #10....that's OK......Loch ness is terrible... I would of liked it better as a 4 minute instrumental with lots of killer guitar solos..... |

I've noticed that it does not seem to matter if I'm on the work PC, Home PC, (both windows 10), or if I'm on my notepad, the message box sometimes, and only sometimes, just does not work like it should on direct reply, but if I back out and come right back it does just fine. It's a mystery. lol

| @Head Banger....As I've said before,... Its nothing forced....in 2014 by the end I rated ROS #4 th best Priest lp,and today its still #4 so I consider myself LUCKY just like those who claim Nostadamous #4 or better,I can't see it but to them it is...
I'm jealous of those lucky bastards who got a Priest Opera that they loved and I'm forever on the outside trying to see inside it like those who can't see the 3 D images staring at the picture for hours....
well never did I think K.K. would quit,be replaced and of all picky Priest fans and arguably the most critical of the band here it would be I that claims the new album #4th best ha ha! Yeah I'm very lucky. So much so that IMO it Will be hard for the band to top it,but I wouldn't put it past them to do it. Hopefully you will like the next and last(of course) album.

Not only does it sound pure "PRIEST" ,the song writing in my opinion is supurb. Dragonaut may not top Judas Rising, however its an excellent Priest track,ask guido Head Banger bam! Lol bro Idk, Halls Of Valhalla, Sword Of Damocles,Crossfire,Secrets of the dead(tops Touch of Evil IMO)
Battlecry is just as good as Hell rider IMO ...Down In Flames is outstanding... totally reminds me of the Point of Entry album,great Priest song.... The only 2 songs out of 13 that could of been left off are Metalizer and Beginning Of The End. The two that could of been left off AOR are Revolution and Loch ness IMO ... I just think ROS has more quality tracks on it....the 3 top tracks if AOR are Judas Rising,Demonizer and Hellrider....I like the other 5 tracks....Deal With The Devil,Worth Fighting For,Wheels Of Fire, Angel and Eulegy ...8 tracks awesome ....just think ROS has more quality... I actually love 11 songs on it,2 skip tracks so for me its a dream come true. I can see why you would prefer AOR over ROS but I was SHOCKED that you didn't like it. Screaming For Vengeance to me has always been a much better LP than
Defenders Of The Faith,The Hellion-Electric Eye's sharp precision alone
is unbeatable ,but I see why others choose Defenders too... it is awsome...
2 songs from Screaming that has always been B side quality are Take these
chains and Fever....2 from Defenders are Eat Me Alive and Night Comes Down
