Man, I'm American and I love this country but I'll admit that our government leaves a little to be desired.
We never should have went to Iraq. Afghanistan is where all the attention should have been placed and now
I'm not even sure what the hell we're doing over there. Libya was none of our concern either.
I have compassion for people but it's not our job to free the world. Our military, according to the constitution,
is meant to defend our country not invade others. We are not the world's police. I have to stop here because
I can feel the anger starting to build with a rant to follow.
Peace(to all)!!! [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by . from Tuesday, September 13, 2011 5:45:26 AM)

I probably posted this before but of course the "faded memory" thing plagues me.
One of the things I'll say to wife occasionally is that
"I love you" "Twice as much as yesterday but only half as much as tomorrow"
It makes her smile.
I usually respond to things I do to make her smile by saying
"If it makes you smile then it's worthwhile"
or
"Making you smile makes me smile".
Yeah, I'm a freakin' sap sometimes but she loves me and that's all that matters.

I went for a drive and a cookout with the wife (again) this Sunday. We love seeing wildlife.
I never saw a deer nurse in the wild before.

It's actually a local park (40 mile drive) and picnic area located on a small lake.
We go once or twice every few years. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by zomby from Friday, September 24, 2010 8:19:12 AM)

Ha ha ha ha hahahahahahahaha!!! OMG! I totally forgot about Speedy and Wile.E. Those were good times. I think hidden in my collection of kids dvds I might have a Best of Roadrunner.. Going to have to check the minute I'm off here. You know, back to the violence etc.. Have any of you watched Bakugan or Ben 10? Those are not only pretty violent but downright scary. My son loves Ben 10 but I have my reservations and gently tried to take his attention off it. IMO, Our olden day cartoons like the ones we're talkiing about now were much milder, funny and a whole lot more intelect went into writing them.

I remember seeing that skit. I loved how his name on his business card ended with "Genius". Heh.
I think he's my favorite character. Love the few times they let him talk. lol He's such an intellectual! Who knew. For years he never spoke and then they gave him lines, and I was absolutely in love with his cunning stupidity. LOL
Night!

Yeah, that's true. I do remember an episode where Wile E. got a hold of the roadrunner's neck, but the latter still escaped. Poor Wile.E.
Still...it's hilarious to see that coyote fall off that cliff/explode/get run over by a car for the umpteenth time.

But you had to feel bad enough for Willey to just want him caught, just one time! I love Willey.

PS: I liked the roadrunner more than Speedy (sorry, Guido).
