oh wow.... how can anyone say which scream is best??? you just cant... theres highest pitched (probly victim of chaaaaaaanggess!  )  and then theres longest which issss ummmm, well i dont even know, i havent heard EVERY song... theres ram it down, which was a very rad scream...  and then theres "blood red skkiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiess!!" and really hes not "screaming" because its very melodic, and amazing that he gets his voice high! he does that in many of their songs, i can never get sick of it though... his voice has so much range!!!
[.] Friday, August 29, 2008 3:52:32 AM

Hard to say.
I'm partial to Ram It Down, always.
Exciter, yeah, there is a screaming and a yelling. Though I really like to hear Halford's singing throughout any song, regardless if it has any of those power kicks or not.
I remember the hairs raising in the back of my neck when I first discovered Priest. The voice was so calling and sharp. The guitars seemed an extension of Halford's voice.

[scorpion01] Thursday, August 28, 2008 3:28:03 PM

I still like the end of Tyrant and the end of Victim of Changes the best but I just listened to:

Like a tiger -  in the cage -  we begin to  - shake with   raaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGE.

And it sounds awsome.

Too many to choose from, but my favourite has always been the scream at the end of Victim of Changes-amazing!

Honourable mentions go to The Ripper, Dissident Aggressor, Savage, Exciter, Sinner, Screaming for Vengeance, Ram it Down, Devil's Child and of course Painkiller!

Graduate of the 'old school'...

[guidogodoy] Saturday, August 16, 2008 2:37:24 PM
Damn straight! I had actually given Priest up for dead after Halford left the band and I heard a Ripper sample in a record store (back when they were everyplace). Didn't like it much.

That one Halford SCREEAAM just sent chills down my spine. Got the CD in half a heartbeat and was amazed to see that they were making a small venue stop...at my fav Detroit metal bar! Ah, man. What a scream that was for me!!

[gunsdf] Saturday, July 26, 2008 10:59:58 PM
the scream in Victim Of Changes in the Unleashed In The East album is very good, but there are two screams that are the same and are very powerful. When start Screaming For Vengeance and Between The Hammer And The Anvil. It's a powerful AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, hahahahahahahaha I love that screams, but my favorite is the scream in BTHATA. And there is one in the beginning of Ram It Down and one in the beginning of Judas Rising too. Both are awesome!!!!!

Green Manalishi (Unleashed).  Well, maybe it's not a real "scream", but Halford sounds damn GOOD at the end!

[judaspriestlass] Wednesday, July 02, 2008 4:05:45 AM
the scream towards the end of the song "Screaming for Vengence"  .....screeeeaaaaamingggggg, screaming for vengence.
Yeah that one is brilliant.
[scorpion01] Tuesday, July 01, 2008 3:54:31 PM

Would I love to hear Rocka Rolla re mastered or what ever it would take to put the finishing pieces together and mixed properly. It is an AWSOME album that does not get its due. For a bands first album it had some very creative pieces on it. Very VERY underrated album. Not as heavy as Sad Wings , but just as diverse. It laid the foundation for the band that would prove to all the world that METAL RULES THE LAND.

[Gibbo UK] Tuesday, July 01, 2008 2:26:04 PM

It has got to be the scream at the end of Run Of The Mill.

[scorpion01] Tuesday, July 01, 2008 8:13:11 AM
So many great ones! But my favs are:

The end of  "Tyrant" Every man shall Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall

The beginning of "Savage" OOOOH OOH OOOH! OOOH OOOH OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!

Also love his screams in the beginning and the end of  "Between the Hammer and the Anvil"

And although the recording was poor his voice is awsome in "Run of the Mill" and the screams at the end of that song are super.

Yes, "screaming first scream" kicks ass.

The closing Scream on victim of changes.    Or the killer "you'll never let me GOOOOO !!!!!!  "Devils Child.
[156555464] Monday, June 30, 2008 7:12:32 AM
Painkiller, Sceaming for Vengeance, ......
[The Dreamer] Monday, June 30, 2008 6:45:50 AM

Yeah Dissident Agressor does it for me too....ear shattering but somehow not painful, just like Plant

Pain-wise, the best screams for me are the start of Judas Rising and then the latest, Nostradamus. He leaves Bruce and the rest in the dust!

[Return_of_Darth_Painkiller_0870] Monday, June 30, 2008 4:31:56 AM
Dissident Aggressor has the best scream.  It's amazing that someone other than Robert Plant can hit that kind of a high note.

Does anyone else here feel the scream at the beginning of the song, Screaming For Vengeance, kicks ass?
[Metal god/Electric eye! [Banned]] Monday, June 30, 2008 12:15:39 AM
Johnny B. Goode.!
[Vaillant 3.0] Sunday, June 29, 2008 11:57:51 PM

I like Rob's scream in the beginning of Ram it Down (the song). It gets you when you least expect it....  But that's favorite.
Best one would have to be the "harmonized" scream from Dissident Aggressor.

[Soylentgreen4u] Sunday, June 29, 2008 11:53:31 PM
RE-SUR-REC-TION........OR MAYBE SINNERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
