Which bonus tracks are gonna appear on the North American release?!?

Whatever the reason 18 tracks is a lot for one album. I'll buy the deluxe addition just to hear everything.

New Album in 2014 ? Well i'm glad to hear that, I was beginning to think they would never finish it ! I miss the good old days when bands used to put out a new album every year. No matter what they decide i'm sure the new one will be a good effort, I have enjoyed everything they've released since I first heard Stained Class as A 10th Grader back in '78 ( yes, even Turbo, P.O.E. , R.I.D. and Nostradamus ) Hats off to Priest ! hope they make it back through Ohio next year, I want to see them again before they decide to hang it up for good.

You look that up on the Internet? When you are trying to win an argument, try to be more specific. It doesn't have to sound like "Painkiller" to be good. Just not the way you want so you need to complain about something so pointless just to be heard. Guess that is supposed to make you sound intelligent or something, eh? :P
I hope they continue on and crank out a few more albums. Their still plenty young enough to do that. If they do I will play the Priest lottery and buy them looking for something more Painkiller worthy than the last two albums with Halford. If not then that's their business. ha

"[It's] hard. It's heavy. It's something we think our PRIEST fans will be thrilled with. We know we have a reputation to maintain, and we know we have to deliver something really strong and solid. The album is going to be full of all the great things you love about JUDAS PRIEST - I don't think I can say anything more than that without being hung, drawn and quartered." - ROB HALFORD
They should be ready with a brand new studio album in 2014!

I wod have to absolutely agree with you... Richie is still young and can go out and have the accolade of being with the mighty Priest. I could brag about Scott all I want since he's my damn idol for drumming, hahah... Rob is nearing the end of the road, but I would LOVE to see him and the rest of the boys from Halford get back into the grind. Ian and Glenn have been more secluded, from what I've noticed. Whatever they do down the road, I wish them the best. But you cannot sit here forever and say, "Oh, just make a few more albums and do some more world tours!"
Hell no, not now... Maybe 20 - 30 years ago, but man these guys aren't young anymore. I'm absolutely lucky and happy that I've been able to see them on every tour since their reunion '04 tour (my first concert ever).. Being 22, I live like I belong in the '80s... (Back to the band) I wouldn't mind seeing them hang it up after this. I respect everything they do, and whatever they decide. I respected KKs decision to retire as well...
As for the Turbo remark, I tend to enjoy Turbo > POE > RID .. And as for AOR, I love AOR since it came out during my time, hahah.. Nostradamus, I've listened to in full length once... It's not a classic Priest record..
Remember the 80's? priest in their prime, metal in its prime, we go from british steel, to an experimental POE, to screaming and defenders, an experiment with turbo, part of the way back with RID, then a different more metal experiment with painkiller to start the 90's.
thats 7 albums in 11 years, maybe 6 of them good, if you give part scores to POE and RID. (disclamer, I think turbo is ok, but I know I am in the minority here)
If they push out the new album in 2014 thats 3 albums in 10 years, and while I put AOR higher on my list that you, most dont. some like nost, I sure as hell dont. while I hope the new album is their best ever I doubt it, and frankly at the current pace I doubt they can crank one out by 2018 to folow it up. So, I hope they put it all into this album, do something great, and then shut it down. Let Richie go on to something else, scott can work other projects, Glen and Ian can go onto post rocker life, Rob can either resurect the halford band or not. Priest have had a great ride, but after 40 years its over.

[J.D. DIAMOND] Friday, November 15, 2013 2:30:33 AM
All you nerds who think this LAST Judas Priest album will be as agressive as Painkiller are in for a HUGE letdown! The first track on the Lp will satisfy the Painkiller envy but the whole lp will not follow a Painkiller pattern and style, Glenn has already said there are lots of British Steel influences within....
Maiden fan bitch might as well not bother looking forwards to this....your not gonna like what you hear.
[Brian_Evans] Sunday, November 10, 2013 3:05:05 PM
I'm thinking it will be very agressive like Painkiller because Richie is a very agressive young guitar player......new young blood will have a big influence on this next album.
[icecreamman] Tuesday, November 05, 2013 11:21:35 AM
Yeah it is going to be very strange with out KK on it......
[PainkillerGirl] Tuesday, November 05, 2013 10:27:34 AM
Next Priest studio album will be "strange" without KK on guitar...but I'm curious on it.
[icecreamman] Monday, November 04, 2013 3:55:52 PM
Fully agree J.D.! Painkiller is a wonderful album but it's not their only masterpiece. I can almost gurantee this album will be it folks, this for sure will be the final album. I just can't see this band making another album in 2018. As far the sound of the new album goes I will be looking for some great old school heavy metal, not really based off another album. This is a new line up and JP will alter their sound somewhat....
[J.D. DIAMOND] Wednesday, October 16, 2013 1:33:46 AM
Yes, Painkiller album influences there will be...Glenn has mentioned influences from tracks such as Between The Hammer &The Anvil, A Touch Of Evil, Battle Hymn and One Shot At Glory....along with influences from British Steel and Sad Wings Of Destiny as well...
[Brian_Evans] Sunday, October 13, 2013 1:08:14 PM
I'll bet this new album has more Painkiller influences than any other.
[Brian_Evans] Friday, October 04, 2013 7:58:41 PM
I'm hoping for a lot of Painkiller influence on this album. Painkiller is their most agressive album and they need to go out with a bang if this actually is their last effort. They need to show everyone in the metal community who's boss again. It doesn't have to sound just like painkiller but be on the same level. ....know what I'm saying?? lol
[J.D. DIAMOND] Thursday, October 03, 2013 2:29:36 AM
Becks.....yes this "IS THE LAST STUDIO ALBUM"....YOU KNOW IT, I know it, everybody here knows it and the band knows it too no matter what Rob and Glenn say....this is it folks.....because of that fact I am hopeing for a kick ass LP but I don't want them to recreate another Painkiller album or an album with too many Painkiller influences within it...why? Because I want to hear other melodic elements in this lp and too much of Painkiller influences will ruin it for me cause Priest isn't just about thier 1990 lp to me....I want to hear elements from Screaming, Defenders along with other classic Priest mixed with the new albums style.
[Becks] Wednesday, October 02, 2013 8:48:34 PM
I think this album will be the last, JD. I'm hoping for a kick ass effort to say the least! Definitely nearing the end though I think. Which makes me sad, but all good things come to an end.
Budred I couldn't agree more. I like AOR but never have I ranked it past #6 all time in Priest's discography....but this Lp for me has to BEAT AOR knocking it down to #7 and with the new Lp at # 6....the 5 Lps I don't think they can top are Sad Wingd, British Steel, Screaming For Vengeance, DOTF and Painkiller. If they don't beat AOR then they are done right then and there for me man. I too will never be looking forwards to ANYTHING they do from here on out.
Its actually the most critical time now for them to DELIVER THE GOODS or hang em up.
[tasnam1] Wednesday, October 02, 2013 2:41:15 PM
I fully agree with J.D. prior post.
This album is the defining moment for them and me.
I have stuck by them for decades and I am tired of the antics (for lack of a better word)
If the album does not delivery, I will no more be interested in the band going forward;
I am ready to move on.
I have NEVER felt this way, but this is the limit for me. I just don't care anymore to support them if they can't change and deliver at this juncture.

Yeah!!!!!..........if Ozzy can do it, anyone can!!
[Budred] Monday, September 30, 2013 2:05:42 PM
Seeing the shape that Ozzy is in and the fact this particular line-up hasn't put out an album in decades and they still released a classic sounding album tells me Priest should have the same ability. I'm not hoping for "Painkiller" or "British Steel" or whatever but there is a Priest "sound" that I would definitely like to hear again. Rob doesn't have to sound like he did thirty years ago and Richie will definitely change their style some but I know they can release a quality album. I think A.O.R. they just followed a formula and went through the motions, Nostradamus I'll never understand, but I think they still can do it. I'll still call them my favorite band but if the new disc is a bust I'll never look forward to anything from them again. They're too old, I'm too old, and life is too short. I'll enjoy other stuff.

I don't care if they if they bring back Dave Holland. They can bring back Les Binks too if they want, three drum attack...lol! I just want a lot of Painkiller elements In this new album. I know one thing I don't want is any carryover from Nostradamus, nothing!....nada!
Ok, Judas Priest teamed up with Jammit.com was announced....yiiiiiiiiiippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! can we now move onto when the new album be coming out? That's what I'm really waiting for.. and possibly a tour to go with it.
Anyone wonder what will happen next year if they release the new album? Will they go back to the old way of offering classic heavy metal that splits your head wide open as you listen to it for the first time? Will it be a bust?
I can already see all these angry posts from people who'll claim they can't stand it because of no K.K. Downing or "Rob can't hit the highs anymore" or "bring back Dave Holland"!! LOL!!
I guess it really all depends how you look at the new lineup. In some ways it makes sense, in others...not so much.

1st, and foremost...I'm very happy to hear a new album is in the works! With that said...I feel they either over-produce their latest releases, or it's just not coming as quickly to them as it used to. I hope it's not a case of over-thinking each song. That may result in a disaster! We can only speculate. No matter what the case may be, I'll buy it, play it over, and over, and support them. Most of all...I'll love them for forever!

Hmm.
Okay, hear me out. The guys are currently devoting all of their resources to the next album and not too focused on touring anymore. Judas Priest isn't worried about the critics. Remember back in the day when Brisish Steel was released? WOW! They were years ahead of the competition with that album. They are about to jump years ahead of everyone again in the metal community with this new album. Just wait. It's a giant circle. Metal must advanced again and judas priest will be the ones to do it. No one else can that I know of, not even obscure unknown hungry metal bands. I just hope the new album is coming this year, if not, I'll wait until next year. No problem. Relax, folks. If it's half as good as British Steel, Sad Wings, Screaming, ect., it'll be amazing!

The bottom line is this: we are all impatient for the latest and the greatest from judas priest.
judas priest will come out on top because they are continuing to focus on their mission of recording the best metal album in the world, and they aren't listening to or getting their feathers ruffled by the fans and media noise.
Even if some think that their last album might not be as cutting edge as others, judas priest albums are second to none.
Let the noise continue because judas priest WILL have the last laugh on this one.
