Well my friend, it very well could be. You see, I am not a very computer-savvy guy. I do not understand these damn machines and I am very limited in what I can do. The thing is, for the last month or so, my computer has been acting up with the SAME problem; it keeps kicking me off my wireless connection! I have to constantly re-connect. I have NO idea what is going on but this may be the problem.. Dear sir, I am not understanding what you mean by this "do-dad" terminology. Does this mean your father cannot use the phone?
There should have been a manual that explains everything in plain-japanese. I would refer you to that document as, while I work for Cricket, I do not actually own a cellphone. If it works either way, I would advise you to leave it off.
Is there anything else that I may assist you with today? Ok, please take a few minutes to fill out our automated survey and have a good day!

I have "Cricket" wireless. I have a little doo-dad ( high tech word) that I plug into the side of this thing and I have internet access. The little doo-dad has a switch on it. I have noticed that, whether I turn on this switch or not, I have internet. So, what the heck is it for???????????

As for what type of CD/RW you have, you certainly can tell without taking apart a machine. Assuming Windows XP: RIGHT click on My computer / pull down to Properties / hit the Hardware tab / then Device Manager button. Click the plus sign next to the CD drives and it will give you all the info you need about your drive without taking it apart. Even if it is only a number (as it probably will be if your drive is old). Take that info down exactly as given (dashes and all if included) and google it with quotes. Voila. | | Necroticist wrote: | | Again we googled this - they recommended several options....basically if i want to lose the cd flash i reboot and it goes..otherwise is there permanently....but only if i use the CD drive...and again is ok if open or a disc is in...i HAVE cleaned it...that ain't the problem..
i'll manage i guess.
