I made the same connection with Deaths similarity to "Black Sabbath's" song "Black Sabbath" on their first LP. Everything I have heard on You-Tube live has been awesome.

This is one of my favourite 'Priest songs now. It stands strong right next to Painkiller. A new song for the 'Priest greatest hits catalogue. It's truely a 'Priest definitive song. It is reminiscent of Black Sabbath's song Black Sabbath itself, however more evil, more doomy. I love the doomy bells and the hums, mixed with razor sharp guitars, and Rob's mental screams. The chori are very well composed, especially the ones where he is singing about Death riding out from the storm, in a panicky and despairful setting. The solo is purely amazing and bone crushing, great job that KK did there, and topped off by Scott's double bass, who does his hooks and grooves explosively through the whole song despite the song's slow setting. And my favourite thing about this song... how amazing they perform this number live. I've been youtubing this beast and it just blows me away, what an amazing song to experience live. Deservingly, the song is growing strong amongst 'Priest fans and most that have been to a concert will boast how mindblowing Death was. I'm sure every last person on this person will agree this song MUST be included in every 'Priest setlist. And here is one live version of it that blows my mind, live from Argentina Luna Park in November 2008:
