I was trying to improve their outlook in hopes they would reconsider this judgement.

If the band truly felt this way (and they may, I don't personally know them) what I do know is that they would not use you as their ambassador of enlightenment!!! The way you have conducted yourself on this Board is not a reflection of how the band promotes itself.
