Those are all Ticket Broker prices that Ticketmaster has already sold tickets to. THAT is the very sad reality of this situation - Ticket master is selling premium seats to Ticket Brokers that are charging, from what I have now seen, up to X 10 the face value. Many fans have decided not to go due to high ticket prices, not realizing that those prices aren't the actual ticket price! And yes, JP management should be blamed for allowing this to happen. The Dallas tickets are not on sale at TicketMaster yet, so those prices you quoted are NOT face value prices. Tickets go on sale June 25th at 10am according to the Allen Events Center site. They are still not up on Ticket Master yet. I bet the highest price ticket is around $100.

Well, it is now June 19, 2011, and I have checked multiple ticket sites for Priest Tickets for the Allen, TX show for Oct 16. "ALL" prices are $157-$113 per ticket. So it looks like my brother and I will not be going to see Judas Priest on their last show in this area. I 1st saw Priest on the Screaming for Vengeance tour and only have missed one Priest show that I know of. Now at the age of 50, I am really disappointed in the way these ticket vendors are keeping the loyal fans from being able to see our favorite bands who come to town and perform for us. Nowadays, great bands that tour are few and far between. Judas Preist if my favorite band and I like "ALL" of their songs, even the Ripper years. No way I am paying that much for a GA ticket. The lower levels are going from approx $500-922.00. Cheapest nosebleeds are around $100.00. I have my eye on the Dallas show as well because I am going to fly down there to go to see it with my brothers friend. He and my brother took me to my very first Priest show in '86. Pretty cool of them to take a 16 year old girl along and I've never forgotten it. I wouldn't trust anything until you see it at TicketMaster. Half of the confirmed dates are not even up on TicketMaster yet but all are being sold by scalpers. We have been complaining about the scalping going on at all venues because TicketMaster has sold blocks of good seats to the ticket brokers rather than making them available to the fans first as they should be doing. All the tickets that I have seen for this tour so far on TicketMaster are under $100. I'm sure Dallas will be the same, most likely prices like Corpus Christi (already on sale). I do hope that Priest finds out about this and stops this from happening in the future, if there is a second leg of the tour. Keep checking TicketMaster and I bet it will show up soon. I am not trying to get Priest to get me Free Tickets, just to inform them that they may not be aware that some Venues may be charging "WAY" more than the tickets may be worth. I love Priest, but $165/ticket is way too much for ANY band.
I guess if they do charge that price, I will just have to hope they make a DVD of the tour and then get that.

The ticket price is from the venue itself and Ticketmaster is not listing Priest for Allen, TX venue for some reason.
