The last thing I bought was the Firepower CD as far as Judas Priest goes. The last CD I bought after that was "Centerfield" by John Fogerty.
[guidogodoy] Saturday, June 16, 2018 11:22:59 PM
Ain't they though? Two of the each design so you have front and backs there. I like the Richie all muscles. Looks lie AOR in that one right above his head. Multiple guitars flying out of...an owl's head! LOLa

The POE throwback is cool too. Funny how I never noticed the "..EAVY" part before the picks. I had to look at the insert to realize it was NOT a typo on the picks!!

No worries, dude. I have it. Just found it in my databanks. Now, just have to FIND it amonst the terrabytes of bootlegs I have!

Give me a bit of time. I am FAR from organized....
[guidogodoy] Saturday, August 30, 2014 1:52:30 PM
Let me look, bro. I think I have it. Audio or video?

You know you can buy one of those disc restorers to grind off the top plastic and perhaps save a DVD / CD, no? They work pretty well and is a hellavualot cheaper than the price you quoted.

ps. Bootlegers SHARE, they don't sell !!!!

I went to buy the bootleg Live June 25th 1980 because the one I have now is scratched. I paid $22.00 for it back in 2007, it now sells for $95.00 ! WTF !!

Agreed, British Steel seemed to have been filmed (EDITED, better said) by the same fool.
I have bootlegs that are better. That just isn't right.

Sound can't be denied, though.

And it is not only this Priest DVD.......it seems to be the tread of producers lately.....way too bad....once again stupid decisions so I will be buying less DVD's in the years to come.

@Nupe ...thanks for the feedback.

I'm thinking I'll get less use out of this than I did "Nostradamus". I don't even have a desire to finish it.

[Nupe The Ripper] Tuesday, September 10, 2013 2:19:39 AM
Unfortunately it is like that throughout the DVD... a real shame because the concert itself is good, but the jump-cut editing makes the DVD not that desirable to watch.

[Budred] Monday, September 09, 2013 11:24:17 AM

Finally bought the "Epitaph" DVD on Saturday. Put it on yesterday and only made it through one song. The editing was driving me nuts. Every half a second they were changing camera's and camera angles and none of it was smooth at all. Too jumpy for me and annoying. Someone please tell me the whole DVD isn't like this. I would rather have kept my twenty bucks if so.

I think I can fend them off for one day with this hunkin' piece of metal. Only the green and orange, Oompa Loompas, that is....only colors worth saving!

There is a difference. Faygo is a soda. Coke is pop.
Speaking stricktly, that is. Bud is right in that I wouldn't blink twice for anyone calling Rock & Rye "pop." Soda pop, after all, Pony Boy! Stay golden.

Good man!!!

I've stated before, Redpop and Rock & Rye are the only flavors worth their stalt to any Detroiter (in that order). Orange comes in as third.

BTW, everyone who has been here long enough knows I always hated those clowns (literally) of ICP. However, they were impossible to avoid. Warmed up for more concerts than I care to count. Faugo is just a symbol of Detroit. Wonderbread was at one time as was Stroh beer and Vernors Ginger Ale (wiki THAT one to see how old it is!). Kid Rock, Bob Seger, Eminem, even John 5 often swill the stuff in public. Last time I looked at the Faygo website, it had Uncle Kracker (another guy I knew ... unlike John, HE was a dick).

[Budred] Saturday, August 17, 2013 1:22:45 PM

@Val

...Faygo "Red"  ...when I drank that stuff. I rarely drink pop now but when I do it's sprite.

...as for the term "pop", yeah i know it's soda but back when I was drinking Faygo we called it pop. The first time I heard someone call it a soda I thought they were referring to a float(soda/ice cream). (lol)

[Budred] Saturday, August 17, 2013 12:27:30 AM

My best memories of "Faygo" pop are because of Insane Clown Posse. I did buy the first disc but I'm not a fan. I took a friend's kid and his girlfriend to one of their shows. The first thing I noticed were people in the lot with the Faygo pop cans. Then I noticed a mosh pit at the entrance. (outside). I saw a case of Faygo sitting in the middle of the lot that very quickly became projectiles hurled towards the mosh pit (along with coins, tree branches, and anything else laying around that could be thrown. Once inside after ICP took the stage I noticed two big fridges on stage. Of course they were filled with two liters of Faygo which ICP used to drench the crowd with. Probably the craziest show I've been to. (Top 3 at worst). I think I shared this here before. Anyway, everytime I hear "Faygo" I think of that concert.

Audio only?!? Oh, you poor creature. We'll have to rectify that one. While many surpassed Detroit in the audio, I think that I liked only Middletown from the Painkiller tour as something that was as classic as Detroit. NY concert was even shared thanks to the taper on this site (my continued thanks if said user is still reading). Detroit 1990 hit first and was a great vid. Double DVD was the ultimate. Middletown vid was fantastic but a different feel.

Just coming back from my old stomping grounds at Michigan State (an ALL Pepsi Univ.), I agree that Coke is great. Still, the Faygo will get the nod. Wish it was a Rock & Rye but I only brought back an old-school bottle of Redpop.

HAHAHA! "You went out of your way not to leave negative comments about me because I helped you." Oh, wellllllll, thanks for the sour persimmons, cousin! Let's see, I suppose I'd be "spinning" things if I said that no good deed (deeds, in your case) goes unpunished, so I guess I'll just wait for you to think up a new term to with which to express your hatred. How about "hamburger?"  Makes just about as much sense.

No rush. Take your time. I'll be here waiting to see what your lil' punkin' can produce. In the meantime, know that I am dying little by little with every negative Priest comment you post here. No discussion on Facebook, eh? Perhaps I'll have to finally join up and get one going.

[Budred] Sunday, January 27, 2013 2:29:22 AM
I haven't forgotten anything. I went out of my way not to leave negative comments about you because of all the help.
You just persist on trying to provoke me. I respond and then it's all flipped on me. You guys make it out like I start this.
Lately my issues are you starting with me. Then you bring up all this stuff that isn't even going on anymore and then
others chime in. Screw it, I'll say and do whatever I want here and if people are offended then tough.

...for the world!!!.....Guido is not an idiot, I just call him that because I'm starting to hate him. I'll put that term to rest!

...what I won't do though is quit giving opinions, (on Priest) or anything else. I won't worry that negative comments about
...Priest or anything else bother anyone or not. And the fact the Priest is fading away before our eyes will not bother me at all.
...the fact that no one here can deal with it is hilarious. People, we all get old and fade away. It's life. It's real.
             ...It's happening now.

You know, I have a semi-decent memory. I recall that you often asked for my help either in public or in private. Did I ever hesitate once in offering what I could? You are now throwing out the term "idiot" left and right. Were I such, why did you need my help so much. Think back a bit, man. Better yet, think back to your entire time on this site. You asked ME for help more times than I can count.

Well, if I am now am such an "idiot," what does that make you? How easily they forget.....

I hate to admit I made a mistake when it comes to you but I clicked on this thread yesterday and
I thought the post I was responding to was from the day before and it was actually a week before. I would apologize but why waste the time.
You were still making stupid comments that were unprovoked. I wasn't putting Priest down with that comment but you only see my posts as negative.(spin)
Saying Priest have never been better was just saying they were at their peak at that time. If saying that pisses you off then you really are an idiot.
Every single living being has a peak then the downhill starts. That doesn't mean I didn't think they kicked ass pass that point. I thought they kicked ass
until that pile they called Nostradamus. I still thought they kicked ass live past that point. Their last tour is when I thought they started to slip live. You don't agree
but I don't try to provoke you because of it but you go out of your way to try to provoke me because I don't agree with you. That's why I call you an idiot.

if people chose not to like me for that reason then so be it. I'm not going to leave and your always
going to be an idiot so what makes the difference.

Back in the day when Priest was still making great music they couldn't touch them. Not once did I claim they could.
That's part of the spin I'm talking about. You attribute things to me that I don't even say. Since that pile of "shit" called "Nostradamus
came out though I think everything "that Cleveland band" has done destroys them. That was the most boring, stomach turning crap that I've ever
heard Priest do and what have they done since. One mediocre tour.
Of course they (re) re-released British Steel and Screaming For Vengeance
and released "the Chosen Few" and released "Single Cuts". Good way to fleece their fans without offering them anything.
So go ahead and have your fun with your comments because they are becoming funnier by the day.
It's so comical that "Priest's" dying is actually killing "you" and has you to point of doing nothing but rip a band I like because they do more for me than
Priest does right now.

(over 60 ignores)(seems like more than one person here thinks you're an idiot).
Love ya man, Take care!

Seriously, give me a song. ONE Mushhead song-all I ask-that can match Priest. I listen with both ears open. HATED ICP (Detroit) and can't stand the garbage that followed that line.
Still, I am always open to new music. Gimme a song (if one could call it as such by definition).

The comment about rigging would have been perfect for the I Still remember thread.
I go to show after show and didn't realize until your comment that I haven't seen anyone climb up into the lights forever.
"I still remember" (lol) ...the dangling rope like ladders and watching guys climb up there.

...also, I love that DVD.
  "In My Opinion"
  "Which Only Matters To Me"
Priest hasn't been that good since. Definitely their high point!

I got the album spammed to be "better than Live Insurrection" for the SECOND time as the first was smashed to all hell in the mail. Right before Xmas as well.

Now who claimed Live in London to be better? Ummmm.....Baxter!? Still. Good copy arrived Xmas eve. Very happy to hear the other half of the album I already own multiple times over.

Sad Wings of Destiny. Bought it off Play.com along with Whitesnake's Live At Donnington 1990 (Disc 2 was bloody broke). Currently listening to Dreamer Deceiver. Shit Hot album fair play.

Hey, what happened to the drumsticks + picks package that used to be in the webstore? Does their disappearance mean a rise in price for those who kept them in their original sealed bags?

Still waiting on that skate deck to drop. Once I invest in the trucks and wheels, the $74+ USD won't even pay for an aspirin once I break a leg!

Good news? Halford's "Live in London" arrived today. VERY speedy fashion. Bad news? It looks like someone took a hammer to it!!

In typical EMAS fashion (it still came with a Metal God addy even though I tried to get around them by buying through Amazon), it was in an oversized padded envelope. Cheapest padded envelope China makes, I would imagine. WTF?! Ok, so I already have several copies of the "Promo" which was exactly disc 1. Still, I wanted to hear disc 2. Now, I had to spend time and more $ to get the return label, padded envelope, drive it to a UPS dropoff place (return shipping was free but they still charge a buck in small towns to drop off anything) and wait at least 10 days for a replacement.

At least I went through Amazon and was also able to file a complaint about the packaging. Seems they shell almost twice the $ in replacements! Let's hope I am luckier with attempt number 2!

Can we both buy one so as to get free shipping from Amazon's +$25 deal?

Now, let's see, maybe if I drive to your house to pick up my copy, I could save the $3 shipping. No, wait, there those truckers who take homeless animals from place to place. Maybe a metalhead trucker will help out! LOL! Hey, Guitardude!

I am on the fence on this one. Just like I hate breaking the bootlegger's law of "share don't sell" I have gotten a few members here together here to buy a Priest bootleg that I know will never be shared otherwise. If such a boot were to EVER appear (achooooBitchCom), takes forever and a day and is edited as they always put some copyrighted materials in their tapings to keep them off the true bootleg sites that share.

While I'd never advocate an illegal download of this copyrighted material and certainly have NO lost love for Baxter, were I to buy it, it would be through Amazon. As I don't know who is getting what, at least I'd know that Amazon would take a big bite.

Yup, agreed. While Nostra is great, Epitaph is outstanding. I have a double of Epitaph but dare not risk using either one! Does this sound like Hoarding?

That packaging around the mug still amazes me. THAT survives the brutality of an overseas mailing yet I have to ask for three Horsemen posters to be sent because they mailed them in nothing thicker than tin foil.

Now, about Halford - Live in London. Besides the four emails a day, who is getting it? Baxtergate is always in the back of my mind on this one and I already own some 4 "free promos" because of shirts and such. Still...

Nostra mug. Just arrived. Not only do they send it in a great mailer (wish they would use the same for the posters!), but this thing looks damn cool.

One of those "I should have bought two" as I don't know if I'll ever risk using it. I still say the Epitaph mug is nicer, this one looks a lot better than any photo could ever capture. Simple JP on one side on black is striking.

First, I already have a picture of me with JP at the meet and greet on my real office wall along with beautiful shots of both old Tiger Stadium and mew Comerica park. My best piece of art on that wall, though? Dr. Smith from Lost in Space! HAAA! Sets a tone whenever someone comes into my office.

If I were to put something as nice as this now #100+ poster (with matting and framing of something that cost $5 + outrageous shipping), it would be stolen. I had a low-rider on my desk years ago. Remote control. Could pop that sucker with the best of 'em. One day, gone! Cleaning crew claims ignorance so what are you gonna do? Put up a pic of Dr, Smith, that is what!!!
