If I went to a Priest/Maiden concert (again) I would wait for Maiden to finish before coming in
or I would leave before they started depending on who headlined. The last Maiden concert that
I went to (2000) I watched Halford and Queensryche and then I was out.

Oh yes.  I remember during high school in the 80's the topic of who we liked more, Priest or Maiden.  Today, I say that Priest has won that argument (for me anyways).

Maiden was my first band in metal with Metallica and, obviously, Priest. The song that put me into Metal
was RUN TO THE HILLS.
Have you listened their most recent album, "The Final Frontier"?  I do and I tell you that is a great album, but
not the best. "When The Wild Wind Blows" is my favorite, has amazing lyrics.

I disagree about "Exciter" opening up hellrider because of the relatively new singer they got sucks and ruins the Exciter sound,but it would be better than Iron Maiden by far,thats for sure. The last decent Exciter album was Blood Of Tyrants year 2000 but even that is no match for the band's first 3 albums from 1983 to 1985....Heavy Metal Maniac,Violence And Force and the masterpiece "Long Live The Loud". Fuckin a man,why doesn't John Ricci just get Dan Beheeler back in the band to sing and play drums like he used to????

I grew up listening to Maiden and Priest since I was 9, I finally got to see both in the same year 2008 when I was 35. No one comes close to them, my 2 favourite bands, dont ask me who I like more because i love them equally.
