Free HBO weekend got me watching "The Martian" today. Fine film. Wouldn't say it was one of the greatest I have ever seen, FAR from being one of the worst. Kept me entertained the entire time.
Thus, my rating - a FINE film! Certainly worth the time watching it.
Seeing it was another Ridley Scott, I cannot help but notice that the man seems obsessed with the topic of space.

While no pilot, I'd argue that would be all but impossible. I liked the drama that surrounded the character more that the scene. Denzel is a great actor.
