Hoping they do the second leg. I couldn't make bristow because of family illness.
[Deep Freeze] Tuesday, October 07, 2008 7:42:18 AM
It is my understanding that they will be back with a "second leg" next year. Perhaps your opportunity will come then?

I MISSED THE SHOW IN BRISTOW @NISSAN PAVILLION AND HAVE BEEN REALLY DOWN.  I WANTED TO CONCLUDE MY SUMMER BY SEEING THE HEAVY METAL ROCKERS.  NOW I'M CONCERNED I WILL NEVER SEE THEM.  WATCHING "RISING IN THE EAST" PROBABLY DOESN'T HELP MY DISAPPOINTMENT/ANXIETY.  IF THE DVD IS ANY INDICATION OF THE SHOW...WHAT AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE I MISSED...    i believe they are concluding Japan.  i'm running out of time, money, and ideas...HELP!!!
Really Serious JP fan

My mistake!  I am guilty of not "keeping up"!

Bill Ward isn't part of Heaven & Hell.  That was Vinnie Appice on the drums.

I saw the concert last night at Nissan Pavillion.  It didn't rain, the weather was very nice, and the venue not too crowded, surprisingly.  I didn't see too many drunk/high people, and the crowd seemed mostly older - 30s and 40s (I'm 46) and even older.  Everything was outrageously expensive - we spent about $130 on beer and food and water.  We had pretty good seats and I had binoculars too.

I didn't care for Testament, so didn't really listen to them.

Motorhead, was, well, Motorhead!  Same as they always have been; one song sounds like another.  They did Ace of Spades but did not do Iron Fist.

Heaven and Hell was good.  Iommi's guitar was perfect.  Dio has a nice voice, but ZERO stage presence and his lyrics have always sucked.  I never have been a Dio fan, but it was worth it to see Iommi and Butler and Ward.

Priest was very very good.  Halford didn't seem to exude the energy I always remember him having but his voice was good.  He struggled a bit on Painkiller, but I don't think there's anyone else who can sing that song!  He changed coats for every single song and I'd like to have some of those coats he was wearing!  I bet some of them weighed 50 pounds with all the metal they had on them!

I wore earplugs so have saved my hearing - it was LOUD!

And I have come away with another great memory of a great metal concert!

Ok, let's see:

You sign a contract with someone else. That other someone breaks the contract and you are left hanging.

According to your way of thinking, it's your own fault someone else broke the contract, especially when you held on to your part of the deal.

If you were really understanding what I was saying....you would understand that what I was sayin'   was that you rather blame the victim than the perpetrator. In this case. Ticketmaster didn't hold to their side of the deal when:

Ticketmaster CUSTOMERS paid full price for a ticket and didn't get to enjoy fully what they paid for due specifically to erroneous information which Ticketmaster is infamously known to provide and fails to correct such errors time and time again. When you pay for a concert ticket, you are paying not only for the main band but also for the bands that support it. To many, Testament IS the main band. To many, Motorhead IS the main band. They paid to see those bands, not only Judas Priest.

Next time you buy yourself a pair of socks, don't go back to the store whining that you only got one of the pair and not two.
Blame yourself for not counting how many socks were in the package, even though the package specifically detailed there was a pair of socks (2 socks).

The venue can corroborate the time the concert started and it doesn't coincide with what says in the ticket.
Many people spend hundreds of dollars for that one day. If they paid with a c.c. they may be able to fight the charges on their own and get a refund, full or partial.
I hope the lawyer has read the fine print available at Ticketmaster?...

Hey all!! I'm heading to the show at Nissan tomorrow. I'm out of my mind with two superior bands sharing the stage: Priest & Heaven and Hell I actually am in a bit of a snag. None of my friends are able to make it. I have one extra ticket. Section 101 K 26. I'm not trying to make a profit. We can work out the $ side of things. If you're intetested drop me a line at [email protected]. For those going, make sure to leave EARLY! I live close to Bristow. The roads are narrow and traffic backs up in a blink. I want to leave at 4:30. After further review, 4:00 might make more sense...Enjoy the show!! It can't come soon enough
[crypticangle] Monday, August 04, 2008 12:02:10 PM
I'll be there ready to Rock Hard & Ride Free !!!!! Priest rules !!!
[paperflowers] Monday, July 28, 2008 9:11:15 PM
Yeah it'd be a blast. It's so far I prolly need to fly :p. The weary-wifey-needs-a-break angle is a hard sell when you have journey tix the same weekend and priest in vegas. Im working on it.

Ah, come on Paper, Go! you will have fun even if it's not up front! I wish I had got my free tiicket  for another venue, then I would not worry about giving it away! I would just go!
But I completely understand with time off work and Gas prices these days, who can afford to do much? Been the least active summer I have had in years!
Went to Florida, that is all. Can barely afford the meet and Greet, but I don't care, been a fan for Forever............I will enjoy myself!
Type to ya later girl!

Nice! I don't think I can make it, but I redeemed the code anyway just to give myself a push . I've missed a lot of work since Mr. Flower's accident and the show is only a couple of weeks away.
[spapad] Saturday, July 26, 2008 5:02:02 PM
