I saw JP at the Bang Your Head Festival this year.

I loved the performance and I especially loved the Nostradamus songs - sent shivers up and down my spine. There was magic in the air and Rob acted his part perfectly.

I would truly love to see them play the whole album - just once.

I can also understand that many people want to hear the classics but the Nostradamus album is a pure metal masterpiece and it has to be done in whole - it always puts me back in time - I love it.

Sure, I've also seen Priest regularly since 1984 so I could miss out the classics just once and still go home satisfied...

I enjoyed the opening number but I did not care for the song with Rob sitting on that silly throne thing!  I agree with you in so much as I really, REALLY enjoy the "classics". I have trouble imagining a full-on Nostradamus show with nothing else. Mindcrime, the Wall, Tommy..whatever. I do not go to a concert just to hear one album. I like to hear a variety of songs.

IMO: The NSTRDMS material was a bit boring live, compared with the classics in the setlist.

Playing the entire NSTRDMS "LIVE" might be stretching it no? After all, its no Operation Mindcrime folks.

As far as 2005, indeed they played 22 songs, but took off Ripper & Hot Rockin from the setlist in the US.

Also, they did not play Bloodstone on the 05 tour. Here you go. MSyrup

I saw them on the last stop on the Metal Masters tour. They sounded great! The only one they played from Nostradamus was Prophecy. They used Dawn of Creation as the opening number then went into Prophecy. The rest of the set went like this..
1. Prophecy
2.Metal Gods
3. Eat me Alive
4. Between the Hammer and the Anvil
5. Devil's Child
6. Breaking the Law
7. Dissedent Aggressor
8. Angel

10.The Hellion/ Electric Eye
11. Painkiller

The European Leg had Death and Sinner in the set. That had to be awesome! Watch for them in the Spring for another U.S. tour, that is the word. Keep the Faith

Glad to hear you all had a good time. I can't wait for their US tour to hit the states. It sucks that a lot of people don't get to see them outdoors like us. So if anybody has a recent set list could they post it. How did the Nostr---newer stuff sound???

I was at that show also, and I agree it was LOUD! But clear, no distortion. My wife needed ear plugs to get through her first Priest concert!!   I too, was pleased with H&H all were great. Drum solo from Motorhead kicked ass!!  But Priest was absolutely amazing! From all Rob's screams, Glenn's smooth solos and KK totally shredding all night, it was great.
Keep the Faith til the next tour!!

All I can say is HOLY SHIT!!!!!
I have been going to Judas Priest concerts since 1980.
I've probably seen them a dozen times over the years, but I must say that the concert at the Shoreline in Mt View, Ca on AUg 31st, 2008 absolutely rocked my frickin socks off, to say the least .  The show was probably the loudest concert that I have been to in at least 10 years.
Motorhead...rocked...............
Heaven and Hell was absolutely amazing..never seen Tony Iommi...what a treat!!! Dio sounded great.....
But Priest fuckin' rocked so loud I couldn't believe it..
It was almost too loud.......NO...just kidding...5 days later...my ears are still ringing nicely...
Hope some of you other Metal Heads seen that show...
AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..
