This is the funny part! When I was a kid, to early twenties Chucks were a good shoe because they were cheep! $12.00 bucks a pair! i had and extensive colection of them back then in all the colors they offered and even a couple of the first "funky" designs they released, so I was really shocked when the website was charging so much for these shoes! I had not been able to buy a pair in the stores for years, they just dissapeared around 1990. I have made countless designs on that thing! It's a good thing to do when I'm bored! But I only actually order one or two pairs a year. At some of the prices they have, I can't really justify spend more than that a year on Chucks, but if money were not object, I would have a pair for at LEAST everyday of the month in different colors for everyday! LOL. BTW, if you wrangle yourself a pair, make sure to treat the rubber on the edges once a week with Armorall, it makes them last much longer, since Chucks are notorious for cracking on the sidewall right at the sides where your toes flex the most. Just a little "Chuck Maintenance" for ya! Check out the nearest Harley dealership. They usually are well stocked with the same style hat (and other apparel/accessories) and it wouldn't surprise me if there were sunglasses there too. I got a hat that looked close enough from Barnett Harley-Davidson in El Paso, years ago. Just a suggestion ...

You can order them online anytime! at Converse.com. My next pair will be the same only in leather, and still have the same thing down the back of the spine. You have to say "The Priest" or otherwise you break copyright laws and they send you shoes with nothing down the back spine. Might be able to just pull off Priest? KK Downing would fit perfect down the spine with the spaces you have but I don't think they would let you use his name. But I love Chucks! They are somewhat of a passion for me!
