Although Ian's feet are firmly planted, he is moving constantly.  So, most of my pictures of him turned out blurry.

Here is the setlist, and Diamonds And Rust was performed heavy electric, not acoustic.

1. Rapid Fire
2. Metal Gods
3. Breaking The Law
4. Grinder
5. United
6. You Don't Have To Be Old To Be Wise
7. Living After Midnight
8. The Rage
9. Steeler
10. The Ripper
11. Prophecy
12. Rock Hard Ride Free
13. Victim Of Changes
encores
14. Freewheel Burning
15. Diamonds And Rust
16. You've Got Another Thing Comin'

I was front row dead center, and there was no barrier so we were right up against the stage. I love British Steel and was so excited that I thought my head would expolde when Rapid Fire started. The band sounded fantastic and Rob's voice was amazing, even hitting the high notes in Victim Of Changes. Rob was intense as always and was moving all around. He would come right up to the end of the stage and even grabbed my hand several times. Glenn was smiling and looking at the audience alot. KK was energetic and he and Ian were always in motion so it was hard getting clear pictures of them. Scott was solid as usual and I could see him clearly being so close. While my favorites were Rapid Fire, Steeler, Victim Of Changes, and Freewheel Burning, there was no low point of the show. At the end, Ian handed me a bass pick and Scott gave me a drum stick.

Sitting next to me was Victor who drove 4 hours from north of Chicago. His first Priest concert was 1980 and mine was 1982, but we were banging our heads and pumping our fists like teenagers. My voice is still sore from screaming. It was an awesome night and I won't be able to get the smile off my face for a long time.

I will also be front row center for the Cleveland show on July 14. I hope my head and neck will have recovered, so I can do it all over again.

Let me know if you have any questions about the show, and I'll try to answer them.

Keep the faith!
Markus
