Ok this is EPIC!  I just got the Into the Pit set AND War of Words for my birthday!  I really am blessed with great friends!  I do however feel sorry for my car speakers...  Going to work today was way fun for a change!
[guardian angel] Tuesday, May 10, 2011 9:45:05 PM
Thanks for the suggestions, I think I'll try War of Words first.  I have everything Priest and Halford have made, including 2wo, and no Fight.  Go figure.  I did download Fight's Christmas Ride off the Halford site.  That is my FAVORITE xmas tune!  His vocals sound faded into the background though, but still an INCREDIBLE song!  Thanks, I can't wait to...

WAR OF WORDS is a must for any metal fan. BUY IT NOW AND THEN BUY EVERYONE YOU KNOW A COPY!

you could just get the Into the Pit box set.......

Hi Guardian Angel! Well, I'm completely hooked on War of Words! Into the Pit, Nailed to the Gun, Life in Black, Immortal Sin, For All Eternity, Little Crazy are my favorite tracks - I LOVE them! I really like the entire CD. I think you'll like that one too.

Halford played an awesome live show when they were here last November!  I would have loved to have heard Till The Day I Die live, since it's the most amazing song I've heard in a very long time.  Regarding Rob, can anyone suggest a good first Fight cd?  I've only heard a couple of songs, and love Just  A Little Crazy, but I'd like to buy a cd and am not sure which one to go with first.  Any suggestions?
[PRIEST_HAMMER] Tuesday, May 03, 2011 6:54:56 PM
Made of Metal is another great album by Rob. Upon first listen I felt it was more like Priest than his previous post-Priest material. All the tracks, save for The Mower were pretty much straightforward rock tunes. The Mower is the heaviest track that sounds like it came from the Crucible sessions.

But the album has grown on me, so I love every track anyway. I wasn't too surprised of the lineup change. That probably had something do with why it stands out from his other Halford albums.

Were there more tour shirts than the long sleeve t-shirt and the short sleeve that I posted pictures of? I know they had a few of his Metal God apparrel shirts as well. It was hard to see, we only had 1 merch booth that I could find and it was PACKED with people looking. Tons of Ozzy stuff....

they had 5 or 6 shirts in calgary, and were selling the cd, and the live in anahiem dvd.  the dvd was 15, not bad.  wish my "cash flow" problem had been resolved a little earlier, so I could have gotten a shirt.

Oooo...I like. I like very much.

Not to worry, Princess Leia. I will purchase that shirt the day of the concert, even if it kills me (financially).

PS: HRMG. Halford will have a couple of opening bands: one called Philm and one called Warbringer. Just heard Warbringer's music and they sound pretty good!!

And I'm posting this one just because I LOVE IT!

Good description. Thanks HMRG.

Any more of you lucky bastards seeing the Halford shows buy a shirt / other and can possibly post a pix?
[HOT ROCKIN' METAL GODDESS] Thursday, December 09, 2010 11:29:00 PM
They had one short sleeve t-shirt with Metal God records emblem on left chest with Rob lifting a mike and HALFORD Made of Metal in big letters across the back with tour dates, a long sleeve t-shirt that you see Rob wearing in some of my pictures, the Made of Metal CD and then some Metal God apparel shirts. My two shows were with Ozzy, so maybe they will have more since he is headlining yours?

Hey HRMG, Hellrider, anyone who's seen Halford live lately!! Quick question.

Did they happen to sell any merchandise at the venue? Shirts? Badges? Tour books? Anything?

I'm sure you're right. I expect a new album. It's only a fucking way to sell more records. in 2007 I saw a Kiss concert and they said that since that moment they would have never published a new album. Then we had sonic boom and more concerts.
My dream is to die during a priest concert when I will be about 85, so they will be about 100, 110 years old. Not too bad.

Here are some pictures from the Grand Rapids, Michigan show. They KICKED ASS!!! It was a very sad and painful day for me hearing the news about Priest, but hearing Rob's voice live made things better just as it always does. The guy behind us really didn't know anything but a few Priest songs. We were ROCKIN' the front row and getting people into it around us. After the Halford set, the guy said, "Holy shit, he IS THE METAL GOD! I mean, I always knew that they called him that, but now I KNOW WHY!! HOLY SHIT!" Other people were asking us what albums to buy to start out with. People that started out as just Ozzy fans became Halford fans that night and I was delighted to see it. They completely understood why we were there in our Halford shirts with the banner then!

Unfortunately no. I already felt like I was asking for too much as it was. I asked Big Dave to give Rob an 8x10 photo of the picture we took with him leaning in on the shot of Glenn posing for us for his scrapbook. I sent a letter along with it, explaining the picture and what happened. Dave said that I got a chuckle out of Rob! I really wish that I could have been there for that, but knowing that he got the picture and enjoyed it means the world to me.

Thanks Spa. Mark had it done through Kinko's. And guess what? Since we did the possessed party package in Cleveland, Big Dave head of Ozzy's security talked to us and told us to give him the banner in Grand Rapids when we come back for the meet and greet with Ozzy and he'd see if they would sign it. We gave it to him last night and he took it back to them. They asked him if he took it from the people in Cleveland! HAAA! He said "No, they are here again tonight and I told them I'd try to have it signed for them." They all signed it and Rob said he wanted one and wanted to know where he could get one! Hell, we would have made one for him too if we'd only thought of it! We hung it over the rail in Grand Rapids where we had front row seats. They came out and spotted us right away, pointed and smiled. They kicked ass last night. We have some incredible pictures from last night that I will post later once I get them all uploaded!

I was ready but according the yesterday new, non new album, only farewell tour!!!!
Many artists said good bye to the stage to start again, but this time, considering the age of the fab5 I'm not so optimistic.
Do you have any good new for the album. Is Epitaph the title of it or only the name of the tour ?

HALFORD was INCREDIBLE in Cleveland!!! Here is the banner that we made and held up during the Halford set. They LOVED IT!!! It's made of a very heavy vinyl so it would survive Ozzy's foam and water attack! On top of it are our tickets, Bobby's stick, Roy Z's picks (white), Metal Mike's pick (purple), Mike Davis's picks (green) and the setlist brought to me by one VERY AWESOME guy!!! Other pictures of the show are posted in the Why all the Web Police thread.
