forgot how good richie was in the concert!!!, seeing it again was great, would have loved some more  extras , backstage walk through, liner notes a little better etc,  also would like to have a one camera version of any of these concerts , from the middle of the show that lets you see everybody on the stage at once , just like you watch it yourself from the floor , no added effects or anything just straight up Priest !!!!!

now that richie is in the band they may not be as retired as you think.  but I doubt you will see any of those songs regardless.

Now that JP is retired, I am a little disappointed that I'll never see them do songs like One For The Road, Run Of The Mill, Island Of Domination, Call For The Priest, Raw Deal, Before The Dawn, Solar Angels, or Night Comes Down live. (just to name a few) I guess when I start my JP tribute band, I'll be able to do whatever song I want.

Yeah, that's another complaint of mine. Absolutely no special features, interviews, nothing! Just like pretty much every other Priest dvd. And I must agree with the Revolver review. I expected alot more from their final tour/dvd. Although the setlist was cool, playing a bunch of rarely played songs, I still thought this dvd had poor audio and video production. If the production would have matched the Hollywood Florida dvd, Epitaph would have been perfect.

I read the latest edition of Revolver yesterday and it only gave the DVD a "ho hum" sort of review. They specifically said that they expected more "extras" such as interviews, etc.

Granted, I would too but, hey, I'll take what I can get!

The Epitaph dvd is good, but because of the video editing, the British Steel anniversary dvd from Hollywood Florida was better.  Epitaph has some visual effects that were just annoying more than anything else. Thankfully it's only during 4 or 5 songs, not the enitre concert. It was nice to see them play something from their best album, Rocka Rolla. One thing I did like about the Epitaph show was the way Rob intruduced some of the songs. His talking between songs was actually interesting. Another good thing about Epitaph (and Hollywood Fl 2010) was very little shots of the audience. I hate it when bands show the audience more than the band (like Iron Maiden always does)

really looking forward to this - the concert was good - but I was under the balcony so the sound wasn't great (also I'd been to say Slayer the night before) but I'm sure the DVD & BD will be awesome - I wanna hear Never Satisfied, Starbreaker and The Sentinel again. I wonder what the projection screen will look like (IMHO a bit naff)
