Tim does have an album of full-blown original material out there..."BEYOND FEAR." It's not THE most ground-breaking stuff...but the material is solid, and Tim's voice of course is the highlight.
Again...my sincerest hope is that he keeps working...the man has the talent and the right attitude. I just hope Tim finds his own true voice and gets together his own band to showcase the true tallent he has! Lose the name Ripper and become the Tim Owens experience!
He has my respect, (He has Rob's repect) I am just waiting for him to step into the light on his own. It will be a great album when he does. I can not wait to hear it! |

Jugulator awesome - Ripper's voice on intro to Cathedral Spires, and the song as a whole, puts it up there in my fave Priest songs. Edited at: Friday, June 20, 2008 11:13:11 AM |

I like Demolition over Jugulator. I think Ripper was able to show off his vocals on Demolition way more than Jug. But I have to say, I LOVE both live albums they put out and the DVD. Ripper shines on those all the way! Edited at: Thursday, June 19, 2008 12:35:43 PM |

I think both albums are excellent. Rob isn't singing but I think it showed how valuable Glen and K.K. are. If these albums came out under a name other than Judas Priest and we didn't compare them to Priest with Halford, I think more fans would accept them. |

Never really liked them, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they are not good albums |

Both are very good recordings,I like them. Ripper was so much like Rob,but just different enough to keep him from being called a Halford clone. I think he done a great job!! But I`m also still happy to have Rob back!! |

All I can say is look at maiden they flopped when bruce left but I honestly beleive "Ripper's" albums with Judas priest were some of their strongest albums. If you don't like Tim "Ripper" Owens take a listen to Iced Earth's The Glorious Burden and if that doesnt change your mind then you must have issues. |
